Nice setting for a sunny afternoon or a quiet evening out. Ample seating outside, a few quiet steps from Via Volturno. Good selection of local and non-local Italian wines. Attractive fresh seafood options available as appetizers or mains. Very good pizza; very good pasta. We...More

We visited during a heat wave in August with temps in the 90's. There is no AC nor were any fans set up and the high temps certainly diminished our pleasure with the meal.

So thankful we found Babbo's Pizzeria in Rome. It was a great relaxing atmosphere and the outside dining was quite enjoyable even with the hot July weather! The pizza was very good and our first experience of true Italian Pizza! Prices were moderate too. Highly...More

This restaurant is absoloutly beautiful. Plenty of choice and really friendly staff. It is obviously a popular place as it was very busy with both locals and tourists. Excellent deserts !!!

Really good, nice family run place. Food was gorgeous - my girlfriend is a very picky eater and she really enjoyed it to. We will come back!

We ordered a veggie soup to share as an appetizer , but what came was mussels soup. The actual veggie soup took ages to come, by this time we were very hungry. Once we were finished with the soup, we had to wait for another...More

Friendly staff, English and Italian speaking, incredible food. Highly recommended. The pasta made in house and calzones are personal favourites. Location is perfect since close to hotels and termini.

Great food, huge variety, service is like clockwork. I had the Spaghetti Carbonara, a sausage pizza, and the sea bass appetizer. All were delicious. Our hotel was in the area and Babbo's was convenient as well as a pleasant surprise.

This was mine and my wife's favourite meal in Rome and perhaps even all of Italy. The homely decor and attentive staff make this feel like real italy. Prices are reasonable with us having an entree to share, a main each, one desert and drinks...More

Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only
way to describe the Esquilino neighbourhood. The
Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas
in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s
famous seven hills. From an ancient neighbourhood to
its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub,
Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot
