Dining close to the popular tourist attractions is risky, because you easily end up in tourist restaurants that don't provide good quality. When visiting Pantheon, a local told us this place which is not far away from Pantheon, yet of the beaten track so most of its customers are locals. We had a delicious lunch there with appetizers and main... More

I was getting sick of eating in old tavern basements and Grano was very refreshing. My favorite was the appetizer, the burrata with anchovies. The risotto was also magnificent. Recommended.

I had the best lamb fillet here. Not fancy but very basic lamb fillet. The Burrata with anchovy is nice too.

It was recommended by the hotel staff. He said walk by the tourist places and go here. It's where locals go. We were the only Americans there that night and the staff could not have been more pleasant and helpful. Great food. Fresh and prepared perfectly.

Met local friends for dinner here recently. Ate outdoors on a pleasant evening. Food was good, wine excellent, service mediocre, ambiance great. Overall, a nice experience topped off by a fabulous dessert.

My wife and I had a fantastic Savignon blanc and an Eggplant Parmesan to start. She had a pasta to follow and I had the pork belly. YUM!!!! Definitely would tell friends to go here.

You know when you review a menu and it promises to deliver a great meal? Well Grano promises but does not deliver. The setting is very nice on Piazza Rondanini, but the quality of the food is mediocre at best. Ib=n a city like Rome where the dining choices are infinite, Grano simply does not keep up with the best... More

Ristorante Grano is tucked away in a Piazza very near the Pantheon. It has outdoor and indoor seating and the patrons were a mix of locals and tourists.. The restaurant was recommended by the owner of our apartment. Service was attentive and we met the owner who circulated among the guests ensuring that everyone was satisfied. I had the pasta...
