Stopped by Nonna's no menu, fixed price trattoria for lunch on a very busy Saturday while visiting the Campo d'fiori. The fare was solid, filling and to my mind, just what was needed that day. Others have mentioned that it was a "tourist trap". Looking around, we were the only tourists in that day for lunch. Quickly seated, we were... More

This is not a place where I will rush back. In the heart of Roma this is the typical place for tourist.

This is by far the best meal we had during our 5 day stay in Rome. It was after a long day of sightseeing and we were desperate for a nice meal, we were so lucky to find this place. We were told it was a set menu and when I asked about a vegetarian option that was no problem.... More

I went here twice in a row. It's a simple, unfussy family run place with a generous and well priced prix fixe menu that includes drinks and water. A lot of Roman families come here, welcomed by the matriarch who runs this place.

I am shocked to see the reviews that call this place inauthentic. You can't find a more authentic place in Rome. All the food is made fresh daily by a little old Roman grandmother. Course after course comes out, everything made fresh daily based on what's available in the market. The owner/chef wanders the tables, saying hello to her guests... More

The prix fix family style experience was enjoyable, but the food was just OK. Pasta was good, but we have had better in other places during our stay. Veal dish was non-descript and pretty ordinary.

Last April my partner and I visited Rome and like many others, ended up here. I felt so disappointed when I discovered we were fooled into believing this was some cute little old lady's 'authentic' Italian restaurant. It is a total tourist trap, let me give you all the important facts to begin. You are not served whatever she makes... More

Great experience, home style food by "nonna". Its better to reserve a table in advance. There is no menu in this trattoria but a fixed price per person (around 28€?) including everything they serve you from appetizers to dessert and wine. They usually serve you traditional Roman pasta dishes to taste (amatriciana and carbonara) which for me are a bit... More

Two years ago when we did a tour at night in Rome we went into the basement of this restaurant to hear about an historical event and then the guide told us how the restaurant worked. It was late and we were not hungry so we didn't eat here but said if we came back to Rome we would have... More
