Visited here late with my son after a previous choice was closed. Made to feel welcome and other tables were busy with local families. Our meals were excellent, particularly the desserts which finished us off for the day. All staff and the owner were great, if you're in the area I'd recommend a meal here to anyone.

This is really a low level place. The service is embarrassing: waiters and owner are incumbent on the customers. The food is just copious, but the quality's not there. We tried the gnocchi (they were flacky and salted), the amatriciana pasta (lacking 'guanciale' and with sour tomato sauce) and the veal 'alla fornara' that was super-fat and with a salty,... More

I was there yesterday in the evening. I have to admit it is a place I can highly recomend. They serve typical Roman cuisine. Very simply and You can find there starters already prepared: mozzarella, griled aubergine, tomatoes, peppers. The owner treated also, pork meatballs. This restaurant is not in the city center and you can't find tourists there, but always full... More

Friendly host and great traditional food makes Il Coccio a real roman trattoria experience. Prices are reasonable and service is impeccable.

Our best meal in Rome. Everything was great and the Fiorentina Steak was better than some of the best restaurants I have eaten in around the world. The owner and staff are very kind. Large portions and reasonable prices.

Wow!! What can I say??? This was amazing. Our host was very entertaining and afforded us the opportunity to try some many samples of the menu. You walk into a delightful restaurant with such a calming atmosphere. You can immediately tell this is a local restaurant that is loved! You are greeted with a large rotating board of Italian starters,... More
