We visited this place seven years ago and wanted to see if it was still the lovely place we remembered. It certainly is! It is located in this quiet piazza where you get away from the bustling Piazza Navona. We just love the red and white squared table cloths. You find them both inside and outside. The service is good,... More

Walking around Rome I was looking for a late lunch spot off of the beaten tourist paths. Restaurants abound along the various squares, but none seemed to be very compelling. I found Osteria da Mario with the help of Google Maps. My meal was excellent, the service was attentive and friendly. The small square was busy with local shoppers and... More

Great spot for a fantastic leisurely dinner. Frederico is friendly easygoing guy. We tried the pastas and several meat dishes and all we're delicious.

This place was great. The atmosphere is very "neighborhood friend's kitchen" and the food was fantastic. Their cacio e Pepe was delicious and if you're near the Pantheon and have a hankering, this would be a good spot. House wine was good, oxtails were delicious (sauce was a little sweet but it was still so good enough that I sopped... More

We found this little restaurant on a recommendation from our Rick Steve guidebook, and were very happy we did! The restaurant is not far from the Trevi Fountain, but it's off the beaten path from where lots of tourists are found. A nice respite from the chaos near the fountain. We sat outside for lunch, and I had the ravioli... More

A friend and I ate here a couple times while in Rome in 2009 and noted it as one of our favorites, so I wanted to bring my husband here on this most recent trip - and it did not disappoint. We actually had dinner here on 2 of the 5 nights we were in Rome as the quality of... More

We ate here following a recommendation and it was fantastic. Excellent, authentic Italian food in a neighborhood populated by Italians and less 'tourists'. Superb value and service. The Chef (Fabrizio) could not do enough to help us and is a genuine character. We would definitely visit again. Not to missed!!

Thank Dave B
