This review is only for happy hour! But this place has a great one. Right at the top of the Spanish steps. Excellent views of the city and wonderful selection of complementary snacks during happy hour!

It takes 10-15 mins to get a menu and another 15 mins to order. The bread is just put on the table and cost 2 euros p.p for a few small dry pices (2 weeks old Tesco bread tastes better than that). The food is decent, but you have to wait for a while and it's expensive. It gets 3... More

We passed this place walking to the Spanish steps and stopped off for a bite to eat. I can honestly say these are the rudest staff we have ever encountered any where around the world. We sat down and we're ignored. We moved tables as we were sat in the corner and had not been approached. We were then rudely... More

We went there with whole family. They haves nice a terrace. Part of it is only for pizzeria, other only for restaurant. We went at restaurant. We had from ravioli, gnocchi, tuna and baccala everything. All was excellent, nicely executed and well presented. Whole staff was very professional. Don't miss tartufo as desert.

I am absolutely in love with the Italian ice-cream and thought it is great everywhere. It was very hot day today and I popped in just to sit down and have an ice-cream. I literally could have only couple of scoops of it, as it was the most horrible artificial taste I could imagine. I did not say anything at... More

A little tricky to find but this café offers a pretty terrace with fantastic high up views and is a wonderful peaceful escape from the hectic atmosphere of the Spanish Steps just moments away. Friendly service and a great venue for coffee/drinks in the afternoon.

We discovered this place on a rainy day in Roma- and so glad. The cernia- grouper- was fantastic, in tomato sauce with pine nuts and raisins. And the service was impeccable. One of our best meals. For dessert - pear cake with frangipane and the house speciality - tartuffo, chocolate ice cream made on site. Mamma mia!

Staying in Campo Marzio

Neighbourhood Profile
Campo Marzio
From its original role as ancient army training fields to its present-day identity as one of the city’s most desirable neighbourhoods, the Campo Marzio is the best place to get lost in Rome. Gorgeous Renaissance and Baroque palazzos line the streets, and are filled with enticing boutiques and food shops. By day, Rome’s best-dressed denizens criss-cross its streets in a fashionable parade of errands, occasionally pausing to look fabulous in gorgeous piazzas like San Lorenzo in Lucina. Campo Marzio can be a bit of a sleeper after aperitivi hour (21:00), so visit by day and experience the pulse of daytime Rome.
