We have been recommended to try Gelato with chestnuts. Believe me! We have tried to find it and asked over 30 shops without any luck. But thanks to internet, we finally found it!! We ate Gelato 5 times in this trip, but this was the...More

The popular Ciampini bar is located in the most suitable place for shopaholics, on the cozy Piazza San Lorenzo in Lucina, just off the noisy and luxurious Via Condotti and Via del Corso. They say that in Ciampini served a good campari, and the local...More

We hired a tour guide for the Vatican museum, he recommended this little spot in the piazza de San Lorenzo. The location is a quick ten minute taxi ride from the Vatican, $8.00 ride. We sat outside and enjoyed the plaza as both tourists and...More

We stumbled upon this restaurant after being recommended a restaurant around the corner which was fully booked. In fact, we were recommended five restaurants to visit during our trip, none of which were as good as Ciampini. The service and the food were absolutely excellent....More

This is a very decent place. It has a good variety of food options on the menu and its quality and presentation were very good. The staff were friendly. Fair price as well. There are tables inside and outside.

We were walking around and just found this place with tables outside in the sun, with umbrellas too. And fancied a drink, they were very attentive and gave us a free plate of nibbles, drinks a bit pricey, but lovely spot for a break.

Epoque shopping centre, and a magnificent Baroque
parliament building—Colonna is not just another pretty
face, but the cosmopolitan eye of Rome’s cultural
