Great spot for pizza in Trastevere, popular with the locals and with a great selection of craft beers. We came back again just to go to the bar!

Bir & Fud is an ideal place for beer tasting. A line of taps placed at the bar gives you the full overview of beers and the staff is quite friendly to guide you if you do not know much about beer. They also serve food at the back and it is possible to have a proper table. The prices... More

This is a great venue for a relaxing lunch in the Trastevere district - a craft beer and a pizza go well together. It is just across the Tiber and walking distance to Santa Maria Maggiore. Costs are very reasonable for Rome, and there is outdoor seating if the weather is suitable. If pizza is not to your liking then... More

We didn't eat here and instead sat at the bar for some beers. And what a selection they have. Fantastic bar for anyone who enjoys craft beer.

We walked for 45 min to find the place that "Lonely Planet" said is a must! No pasta, no pizza, no wine, no coffee, no WiFi. All but one staff member made us feel we were inconveniencing them. The fries are crisps. The Bruschetta were large croutons - (cut my gums). The cesear salad was dry and bland. So disappointed.... More

Great place, whether you are just going for a beer, or a meal in the restaurant (definitely book first for that!). The range of beers is excellent, very friendly staff at overall atmosphere. We visited twice on our recent stay in Rome, once in the restaurant and later in the week for a beer & pizza at the bar. Thoroughly... More

Yummy pizza and friendly bar and good selection of beers. Left my cell phone here by accident. Followed up with them an hour or so later when I realized and there it was waiting for me at the bar. Thanks, guys!!

Good choice of tasty beers. Good choice of excellent pizza. One of the best we had in Rome. Fast food by Italian Standards. The Pizza appeared fresh from the oven very soon after ordering. Worth a visit.

Staying in Trastevere

Neighbourhood Profile
Trastevere ("beyond the Tiber") is like a faded postcard, a little worn around the edges but still charming. With its wide-open piazzas, meandering streets, weathered Renaissance buildings, and overgrown personality, it's become an irresistible mecca for visitors. Trastevere is an enclave of entertainment - a rotating set of street performers entertains almost every night, and unforgettable eateries and bars pepper its piazzas and side streets. For a trip to the past, visit the southern and western flanks of Trastevere for pockets of yesteryear, less traversed areas with a residual 1960s and 70s Roman vibe.
