Great food. The waiters were top class traditional guys. Helped me out with the menu. They let me know what I should choose to eat and drink. I wasn't disappointed. I recommend this restaurant. The Smith family.

We remembered this restaurant from a trip to Rome two years ago. The food was delicious as remembered. However the service was not quite as good as we remembered and Man, Was it Hot in the upstairs area! We were all sweating and do ready...More

We went to this restaurant for my husbands birthday after looking on TA and booking a reservation. We arrived at the restaurant and were the first people there. We were shown to our seat at the back of the restaurant and with the open roof....More

Food was excellent and service was great! Don't let the entrance fool you and get the feeling nobody is there, that is not it:) Price fair!

Excellent food and good choice of wines, reasonably priced. Roman families enjoy group dinners in the large main dining room, smaller and more intimate rooms offer a quieter and more relaxed atmosphere for couples, small families and few tourists. Great service too.

Most notable was the absence of Americans and tourists. It was a bit awkward when we arrived without a reservation...the front desk is buried deep within the restaurant so you have to just walk in and ask for a place to sit. The fifteen minute...More

Seeing the previous review, this was going to be our subject line as well! Visited twice during our four nights in Rome loving the homemade funghi pasta that we had to return to have it again. The mushrooms are plump, flavorful and pasta the best...More

This was an exceptional place to visit. The atmosphere was lively, the waiters very friendly with a wicked sense of humor and the food was perfection. My particular favorite was the preparation of the grilled fish; perfectly cooked. Don't leave without having tried the Torta...More

Frantic fashionistas, pedicured politicos,
goal-oriented tourists, and on-the-go locals cross
