Great ristorante with lovely staff and nice prices. The risotto was fantastic and the restaurants own white wine was perfectly crispy and fresh. Go there from Campo Fiori... it's only a short walk... but worth it.

On a positive note, the atmosphere is great, the free pizza bianca along with the bread was good & the lasagna was tasty. However, the sparkling water was flat - delivered in an opened bottle so no doubt from the 'spina'. My illusion of fried zucchini flowers is their being dredged through the lightest of batters, fried & delivered to... More

Horrible experience, such a rip off. They deliver bread without asking and charged us $4 (which all other restaurants serve it for free) and $5 for a few pieces of potato side dish for a 16euro 100g steak. Food is really just so so, very overpriced. I will give 0 star if it's possible. Not recommended at all. Warning! Tourist-trap... More

We started with a tour of the older parts of the restaurant which is built with parts of the famous theatre. Fantastic authentic Italian food with lovely service, we had a lovely evening.

My family and I had a delightful meal at Grotte del Teatro, and then on a second occasion my husband and I enjoyed a nice meal by ourselves, sans children. We were charmed by the hostess, who also acted as the waitress and possibly the chef? After looking at menus for some time, she said, "I will think for you."... More

Passed Grotte on the way to the multi-tourists restaurants in campo d'fiori. After being barked at by all the folks in front of the restaurants I made a u-turn back to this quiet authentic restaurant. Treated by an elderly gentleman outside - I knew I had found the right spot to eat. Fresh fish on display to the right as... More
