Went with friends for a late lunch. The decor was quite eclectic with mismatched furniture and a very arty theme which was quite homey at the same time--very nice change from usual. The staff were friendly and welcoming. The food was quite good for the price. The beer and wine selection was a bit limited but we found some that... More

I was in Roma for four days and this is probably one of the best place to eat pizza. Pizza( margarita & napoli ) have lot of cheese ( mozzarela mixed with some other cheese ) and the dough is baked just as it shoud be. Waitor is very polite and kind.

We stumbled across this restaurant as the restaurant (Da Enzo Al 29) that we wanted to go was fully booked for the whole week. Addition to that we were starving & tired from our Colosseum trip, we were kinda indecisive which restaurant to go for. Till we bumped into this cajoling waiter stood outside this restaurant so we gave it... More

Nice friendly restaurant. The nice smell of the wood burning stove is so wonderful when you walk in. Ugo was our waiter. He spoke English and Italian. We visited at night around 7pm. The area around the restaurant is safe and we walked a lot around there. They made us fresh pizza bread which was awesome when it is fresh... More

Enough said. Tables in the middle of a road with traffic open, typical menu not particularly well executed, not so low prices. With the same money you can get way better stuff in Rome.

Food was average, service was average, house wine was below average but the bill did not match what was ordered and scribbled onto a scrap of paper. When questioned, I had to wait near kitchen for 5 minutes while a new bill was written on official receipt. Should not have to check the honesty of these places but it saved... More

We wandered into this restaurant and were very happy with our experience. Since it has pizza and it looked like a lot of local families were coming here, we were afraid the food may not be great, but it turned out to be wonderful. Everything we ordered was delicious, including the osso bucco, a pizza, vegetables, and the creme broulee.... More

My wife and I had dinner here tonight and we both had pizza. I had the 4 cheese pizza and my wife had the tuna and beans pizza. We both thoroughly enjoyed our meal. Highly recommend for lovers of Italian thin crust pizza.

We had lunch here. It was a quick and friendly service, and the waiter spoke a good English. We both ordered a Pizza, and it was the best Pizza I have had so far, we ordered ½ a Liter of the house white wine and it was níce and cool on a hot day. The restaurant is placed in a... More

Staying in Trastevere

Neighbourhood Profile
Trastevere ("beyond the Tiber") is like a faded postcard, a little worn around the edges but still charming. With its wide-open piazzas, meandering streets, weathered Renaissance buildings, and overgrown personality, it's become an irresistible mecca for visitors. Trastevere is an enclave of entertainment - a rotating set of street performers entertains almost every night, and unforgettable eateries and bars pepper its piazzas and side streets. For a trip to the past, visit the southern and western flanks of Trastevere for pockets of yesteryear, less traversed areas with a residual 1960s and 70s Roman vibe.
