We wandered in early one weekday evening, and were made to feel very welcome by the senior waiter. He spoke little English but luckily we understand and speak a little 'menu' Italian, so we got along just fine. The set menu was fantastic, as long as you like fish/shellfish! The assorted appetisers were a meal in themselves, with deep fried... More

We got ripped off on the bill. The employee sought to serve us more and more so that we spent as much money as he could get. We were charged for a 5 person meal almost 300€. The waiter was dishonest when he suggested a 200€ "fresh-caught" fish and he hadn't inform us the price and the weight, specially because... More

Our visit was a touristic rip-off. 200 € for one fish for five people. We have to report to the police. A danger for tourists

Good experience, but honestly overtime the overall experience is deteriorating. Complacency? Possible. This was one of my favorite restaurant in Rome, near Sam Giovanni area. Admittedly the food quality is still on the high side, but the service, timing, the evolution of the meal sequence has been lost. Maybe a drastic change on the crew? I am not really sure... More

The pasta was just so delicious! I ordered the broccoli sausage pasta with an olive oil base, yummy homemade pasta for €9.00 Euro. My friend ordered a different sausage pasta, homemade pasta, which he enjoyed. We thought it was a fair price. Italians don't wait on you quicly, as they do in the USA. We waited some time before bread... More

We used to go to this fish restaurant a few years ago. When a great coupon deal came up (I should have known) we went. The entire place is run by two weary waiters and is deserted. The food was below average and it is difficult to find a bad restaurant in Rome, more likely to be overpriced. I highly... More

For our 3-year anniversary, my wife and I spent a week in Rome. This is where we ate on our actual anniversary. The Buffalo Mozzarella was a great start, and my gnocchi in Genovese pesto was excellent. My wife enjoyed her meal, unfortunately she can't remember what she had. Her wine must have been excellent as well. We ate outside.... More

We arrived at this restaurant on the 24th of May and were led down into the back of the restaurant through a section of stone wall which added to the experience. With a bit of jet lag after arriving in Italy after a night flight our appetites were not usual but we had the opportunity to try a few selections... More

We really enjoyed sharing a bruschetta appetizer and then a spectacular veal dish. Very convivial ambience. Good and reasonably priced wine. Topped off with cappuccino. This restaurant was soooo much better than the places that Central Holiday Tours reserved for us.

We found this place by walking past and venturing in. After explaining our poor Italian we were attended by an English speaking waitress. We were given a complimentry glass of spumante and my wife ordere the whol sea bream and I ordered the fried calamari and shrimps with grilled vegeatble and fried potatoes. We ordered a bottle of Elena Walch... More
