Everything is good on this menu, but please let me know if you taste a better authentic Carbonara, roasted potatoes , zucchini, aubergine. As for the abbachio (sp) (lamb) you willl have to accept my bonafides here, my husband was enjoying the lamb so much- I just didn't want to interrupt his ectascy for a scientific sample -( purely for... Not geared for tourists, only locals were there the night I came in. Prompt service, food delivered quickly. Ordered the fried artichoke, ox tail and roasted potatoes. Excellent choice. Portions were good, prices average, a good choice for dinner.

Came here for lunch on our first day in Rome. Traveling with my mom and was really hoping to start our trip with some good authentic Italian food. As soon as we walked in, the grey haired man gave us a look of disgust. Reading through other reviews, it seems we weren't the only ones that experienced this. Through the... More

Just finished extra delicious launch at this great Resturant . Was on our way back to the hotel , looking around for decent Resturant , when we found crowded one called "Ai Villini" . They say us in a small corner, they took our order fast & brought the hot food also fast . Good service , nice people .

Our dinner was very good. The reviews spoke very highly and they deserve the praise. My wife had the tortellini and I had the meat loaf (veal) and potatoes and they were both very light and very tasty. Would eat here again.

Had the spaghetti carbonara and a hose red. Smell of the food was amazing! However the spaghetti was undercook. And I know the difference between al-dente and under cooked pasta. Maybe because try were too busy. And needed to rush the food out.

We were here for the forth times and we had both tried oxtail, tribes all we are missing is some stuff friendliness. The oxtail was really good and the tribes with tomatoes sauce was ok but not special, this is a good traditional italian dish with a " real italian's mama attitude" The pannacota is to die for, and the... Staying in Prati

Neighbourhood Profile
Just steps away from the chaos of the centre, Prati is the closest Rome gets to calm. Meticulously planned in a neat grid, quite unlike neighbouring Borgo, Prati is a local favourite for its aesthetic organisation and wide streets lined with a range of boutiques for every shopping fantasy. Nonnis pushing baby carriages and gossiping teens own every inch of the sidewalk, but that’s only during business hours. Once the sun sets, quirky sidestreet bars celebrate aperitivo hour, those evening cocktails that help wash away the tensions of Roman life.
