Dino is warm and welcoming. We went for lunch and it was very busy with locals. Everything was fantasic, real home cooking like your Nona spent care and time peparing it. If you want authentic delicious food this is a must do. They open for lunch everyday except Sunday and Dinner Saturday and Friday. Do not miss this place while... More

Our dinner at Dino's was truly our favorite meal out of our 5 days in Rome. From the handwritten menu to the home made limoncello, everything was delicious and served to us as if we were family. Loved the experience!

What a great homey place! The menu is written for the day in a spiral notebook. Limoncello that tastes homemade. Great food. Inexpensive. There were 8 of us, 2 bottles of wine and limoncello and the total bill, written on the paper table cloth was 140€. Would definitely go back.

Feel like a local, eat like a local, talk like a local. When you ask for the menu you get a small note with the meals of the day written on. Have your Roman lunch in a very non touristic place. Every time we're in Rome we look for such nice places. Are you tired of pushy waiters and bad... More

A small friendly family run restaurant with excellent food. Our seven year old enjoyed the meat balls. He also enjoyed the attention that Dino gave him. We were made to feel very welcome and it was great to relax after the crowded Vatican. We will definitely return next time we are in Rome.

A Roman friend told me about this place and every time I am in Prati for lunch I go there. The place looks pitoresque and has a nice vibe. The people are very nice, especially Dino, who always has a smile on his face and something good to say. The menu is handwritten on a piece of paper. They serve... More

So I was looking out the window from above and across the street, and the name of the restaurant caught my eye. Could an Italian restaurant in Rome really give express service? I knew I only had 30 minutes available would I be able to have a first and second plate? Dino greets everyone in a friendly manner. In the... More

This is the sort of restaurant I never expected to find in the middle of Rome. We were the only non locals here, and the restaurant was full both times we came. If it hadn't been recommended I probably would have walked on past it, as it isn't the best looking restaurant you will ever find. The food however is... More

Schoolchildren in Finland eat much better food at schools than guests at Dino's Express. We went to Dino's Express in our last day in Rome, just before we departed to airport and should we not have been in a little hurry, we would have left this place instantly we got our dishes. The place itself looks pretty nice and the... More

Staying in Prati

Neighbourhood Profile
Just steps away from the chaos of the centre, Prati is the closest Rome gets to calm. Meticulously planned in a neat grid, quite unlike neighbouring Borgo, Prati is a local favourite for its aesthetic organisation and wide streets lined with a range of boutiques for every shopping fantasy. Nonnis pushing baby carriages and gossiping teens own every inch of the sidewalk, but that’s only during business hours. Once the sun sets, quirky sidestreet bars celebrate aperitivo hour, those evening cocktails that help wash away the tensions of Roman life.
