Very good food an friendly staff. One of the best pizzas ever tasted for just 4,50 eur and a good fillet stake for 12 eur. We have not found too many restaurants in Gaeta, and we almost gave up before finding this place. We definitely recommend this place!!!

Good was fresh, service was excellent. No pizza for lunch so we were forced to get the pasta ( smile). Mussels were small but tasty. Worth the trip

Hole in the wall restaurant that opens out to a garden. The antipasto a, pastas, fish (grilled or fried) are cooked to perfection and have the taste of mamma's home cooking

We had dinner in this restaurant. It was crowded but the staff was quick and efficient. We enjoyed the pasta in the Gaeta style and the ravioloni stuffed with fish ( delicious)

We stopped by for lunch. The owner was also the waiter and the chef. While it took a while to get our meals, it was worth it. This was the only meal where my six-year-old son cleared his plate.

Stopped here for lunch, and really didn't expect much seeing it was a weekday and off season. But the owner was delightful, and the fresh calamari on the grill were perfect. Also the pepper steak that my friend ordered was sublime. Definitely return to this restaurant without a doubt!

Thanks to the chef's invitation and a rubbing of his tummy (who needs to speak the language) our grandchildren thoroughly enjoyed watching their pizzas being prepared and cooked. The pizzas were very tasty as was all our food and if ever in the area again we would return.

We returned to La Rete 2 weeks ago. We originally discovered the place in 2002 & were delighted to see that the owner, Andreas, was still there. He vaguely remembered us & decided to prepare a 3 course seafood meal for the 8 of us. No menu choices for our group. The first course was a seafood medley consisting of... More

Very good food, nice atmosphere inside and outside in the small garden, friendly staff; my favourite dish: mussels with pepper followed with white house wine. Pizza is also very good: it is made in the stone-oven.

It is a place to enjoy grilled fish or sea fruits more than meat dishes (probably pizza is also good). Wine choice is a bit limited and the bill is a bit higher than what you expected but it is a nice choice in a very typical street and with plenty of tables. Service is sometimes slow but really friendly.
