What a perfect way to end our visit to Gaeta. Amazing atmosphere just inside the old city gates leading to Old Town Gaeta. Sipping a fantastic house red, looking at the water, and eating some of the best home made pasta I've ever had = an experience I won't forget and a place I'll visit next time I'm in town!... More

Used this restaurant on our first night as we were staying at the hotel next door. Set away from the main eating areas we were plesently surprised. The food was excellent, mostly sea food but they did serve a very good beef and vegetable dish. The waitress was very friendly and the service was good. The restaurant looked a little... More

We had the pleasure of having our peiple wedding anniversary dinner for 25 at Il Follaro. The incredibly talented chef and also someone that we consider our friend, Davide, presented us with a celebration meal that we will never forget! We have dined at Il Follaro in the past when visiting Italy from the United States and Davide was our... More

First the negatives. Only one beer on offer, and that was a 33cl, no 66cl options. No meat on offer, only seafood. The pluses The beer is Nastro, so it's a good beer anyway. The wine list is extensive and not all that expensive for some things you might have been wanting to try. The food was exquisite. I had... More

We arrived after lunch time in the hotel next door and had to eat something before diner. We shared a starter and first course that were dishes out of our comfort zone. We really enjoyed the food that was served and the waitress that was very capable of speaking English.

We were accommodated closed by the entrance door (and this was not much appreciated but the restaurant was almost full for a first holy communion reception. Table cloths was not white as you... We ate here two ngihts in a row while in Gaeta. Chef Davide was very good at explaining what was in season, and the local dishes on offer. the menu was creative, with the smoked swordfish being a stand out whether it was featured in in pasta or on its own in an appetizer. They are happy to recommend great... More
