This restaurant was awful. We had high expectations, knowing it was the birthplace of the marguerita, but we were sorely disappointed. The waiters were so rude and basically ignored us. Our waiter seemed to pretend that he couldn't speak English and understand us, but was very attentive with an older couple across the room and conversed perfectly fine with them... More

My 10 year old grandson and I found this spot when making out way back to our hotel after a long day of exploring Napoli. We were pleasantly surprised by how good it was. We both tried a new variety of pizza we'd not had before in Italy and both enjoyed our selection. The pizza fresh and large. The service... More

Picked out this restaurant on a busy Sunday night. Started with a large selection of smoked and fried fish that was excellent but upon arrival was clear this was more of a platter for 2. Left little room for my sea food pizza which was a little disappointing. No cheese and the clams hardly opened so didn't risk them. My... More

We stumbled on this place for dinner and we LOVED it. Best pizza we've had in Italy so far - the dough was amazing and the flavour was perfect. 7 euro for a big Margherita is also pretty reasonable to me so not sure what the prices are that people complain about. The service was fine, music was lovely. Already... More

Went to this restaurant because of it's history of pizza making in Naples. The staff were friendly, and the setting was good, but our pizza margherita was soggy to the point of being wet. Ugh. Probably the worst one we had. But the clincher was the waiter, not our only server, who waited until my husband was in the toilet,... More

Maybe I am critical? I grew up on Long Island, home of the best NY style pizza in the world, probably made by pizza bakers descended from people who left Napoli and immigrated in the 1890's. May I state unequivocally that the pizzas that myself and my wife ate at Pizzeria Brandi take the prize for the absolute worst we... More

Brandi is where the first pizza was created - so we were told! Strangely the pizza here tastes different from almost every other pizzeria we were in. The restaurant in a quaint corner, and when the whether is good, you can have a pleasant meal outside, enjoying the culture in Naples with some good Italian music! It is no Michele... More

After several days of pre-planned spots to eat, we decided to improvise and entered Pizzeria Brandi. It started well, but finishes with a negative note. We were 11 people and got immediately seated on a big, quickly arranged table in a place which seemed to have been visited by many famous people. In a typical local atmosphere, we decided to... The first owner discovered pizza margarita for queen margarita. Today pizza margarita is one of the best plates for the restaurant and one of best pizzas to napoli. Also and the pasta plates was perfect. The environment of restaurant is very traditional napolitan
