Very good food at good prices. All the fish /seafood dishes were very tasteful. The service was very nice, they can speak english as well. A very good ratio between quality and prices.

We were looking for a place to have lunch after visiting the Cattedrale di Salerno and decided to hop into Mamma Rosa. We were recommended the Zuppetta di Pesce Senza Spine and Baccalà Fritto. We found the food filling and the service prompt.

Servers speak good English and are very passionate about recommending what you should order. It made for an interesting dinning experience. Their big focus is on seafood but they did a good job on accommodating me with menu items without it. They offered a starter plate which was a lot of food but very good mix of veggies, meats and... Mamma Rosa is a great place, home cuisine of high quality, very rare to find! We were in Salerno for one night only unfortunately, because this is a place where to return many times. We had a seafood starter and an hot pot covered with pizza dough, delicious! All served with an incredible white wine. The price is more than... More

We did enjoy the quality of food and simplicity of the environment. We had different plates, pasta frilled fish plate and stewed bacalado with pizza cover... Each was a great discovery

The service is light hearted and relaxing, but really meant to steer you towards a few dishes that the restaurant finds easy to make and easy to profit from. There for dinner, we noticed almost all tables ordering the same few dishes. Mama Rosa walks around, doesn't really cook anything, because much of the food is pre-cooked. Your seafood appetizer... This place is so perfect. Best house wine by far we had during our trip to this region. I'd drink this every night at home. Nice idea to just go with Mamma Rosa's suggestions. Come hungry! I would have dined here all week if we were in town that long just to try everything on the menu. We really liked... More

We found this thru tripadvisor recommendation and it was no let down. After a ten min wait for a table to free up we were attended to timely and friendly. My girlfriend had a seafood salad which she enjoyed and I had the baccalau pasta which with a bit of added salt and pepper tasted great. Despite the business the... More
