Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.

We stopped for dinner at this restaurant and decided to eat fish
Appetizers , seafood salad ; then fried and monkfish .....
Dishes served quickly and politely, but without personality ‘: standard flavors and not exciting ... some doubts about the origin of the material ...
However nice place and great wine list , with prices a bit 'exaggerated
Medium prezxi on the menu .....

We came to the Paillote (pizzeria entrance Crab) with an outdoor table overlooking the sea
Really cute and well organized
Friendly and smiling staff... fast and accurate service
Smells good and well presented
Discreet desserts and good choice of beers

We usually treat ourselves to a nice meal or two while travelling and we stumbled across this restaurant with a Michelin Star, close enough to where we were staying in Abruzzo. However, we'd been eating so much in the previous days, that I wasn't that hungry, to tell the truth! So, what I really appreciated was that for lunch, we could order a special that was the chef's choice: an appetizer, a main and a dessert at a very reasonable price. There was only one other table in the restaurant, a family of three people, so our service was top-notch, getting nearly the full attention of the very nice waiter for most of our meal. It felt like we got the experience of a Michelin star restaurant (with the quality of the food, service and beautiful surroundings) but without having to stuff ourselves through multiple courses. We thought the food was very nice, top quality seafood. A great dessert. A reasonable cost for the bottle of wine. All in all we were very happy with this experience.

A famous restaurant, with adjoining splendid bathing establishment of the De Cecco family, a landmark and a great attraction for the city of Pescara. Restaurant that throughout the year makes use of the collaboration of the saddled Chef Heinz Beck who organizes theme nights. I had the pleasure of spending Christmas lunch with my family in a warm, very creative and cared for Christmas decorations. The place often changes scenery according to holidays and events, in memory of the historical clientele. The welcoming, polite waiting staff, attentive to the needs of customers. The Christmas lunch developed all around the iconic Christmas dishes of the Abruzzo tradition, very tasty, well-kept, created with high quality materials. Although the place was full I appreciated the quiet and calm tone of the customers (rare in Italy). Of course I can not recommend it, I hope to return soon, maybe in summer.

One of the best restaurants in Pescara if you want a fancier and more formal meal. All the dishes we ordered were delicious and we were pleasantly surprised by their quality and presentation. Valentino was our waiter and his service was very welcoming and efficient which made our evening particularly enjoyable.

I've been to this club with colleagues. Place visually not to my taste but particular, very long waiting times. Definitely inadequate portions, very low quality of raw materials used and no interesting notes from the kitchen. Exorbitant price compared to other premises in the area. Very dissatisfied

All you can expect from a Michelin * restaurant: excellent service, exquisite dishes, very interesting yet amazing pairing of tastes. We had Gran Cafe menu and have to say it was sooo delicious from start to finish: 2 starters, 2 first courses, 1 main course & 1 dessert. All for 65 eur is just a small pay for what delicious & extraordinary the food was.
Indeed the best restaurant in Pescara and an amazing way to end a vacation.

Restaurant decor decent we chose to stay on the terrace which was very hot and stuffy when asked waiter to open the window he did not acknowledge us.
Took very long about 30 mins to get us menus and never explain how the menu works as they have deferent degustation menus.
The waiter was not helpful as he was attending a big table and forgot all about us. He spoke very bad English.
Food was ok but not to standard for a Michelin star restaurant. the time between courses was to long as we got to the restaurant at 9 15 and left at around 12 30 we had to ask for the bill as we were really ignored.
Air circulation and service should be improved.
Mussels and clams stew was delicious
Seafood risotto very strong taste poor presentation
Pasta seafood was very well presented and delicious
Main course seafood arrangement was delicious
We will not go again

Very very mediocre. Service is inattentive. Waited 8 minutes before one of the waiters acknowledged us and finally gave us menus. The waiter did not know basic English, which you would expect in a starred restaurant. The table next to us ordered a bottle of very expensive wine and the attention went all to them. We felt ignored. Very discriminating. We had their “imperial starters” - nothing imperial about them. The waiter lied saying there were 9 raw seafood courses, but there were 5. When we mentioned it, he did not reply but just cleared the table, probably pretending he did not understand. One of the warm courses was literally clams and mussels. That’s it. Clams and mussels served in a sharing plate. I can do that in my own home so I’m not sure how that classified as a Michelin Star course. The owner is the big boy pasta De Cecco.... and knowing how things in Italy work, I won’t be surprised if some money was pushed under the table to get this star awarded. Do not ever go here - head to Zattera down the street instead. More genuine, more friendly, and way better food.

The restaurant amply deserves its one star in the Michelin guide, and I doubt that you easily find a one star restaurant with such reasonable prices. It serves mainly fish dishes. The raw seafood which is served is of impeccable quality. I was so satisfied by this place that in passing through pescara just for a one night stay I had dinner and lunch there in a row. The service is very efficient and polite too. This is a place where I shall certainly return. Highly recommended!

The service was good, but the food was mediocre, at best. We found an hair in one of the dishes. We showed the waiter, and he said nothing and took the dish away. The manager never apologized for it. It was so disgraceful and rude.
We have been to other Michel ii not starred restaurants and this is nowhere near the quality or the taste of other ones.
Don't waste your money.

Right on the beach in the centre of Pescara this has to be worth a visit. We were a large group which made service somewhat difficult. But were really rewarded by some great cooking by Massimillano Capretta and the team. Both the fish and meat dishes were superb and creatively presented. Pasta was typical for the region but in little heavy for me. Would certainly warmly recommend the restaurant.

Awesome restaurant with superb service and delicious food. Since I'm vegan, i asked the stuff for vegan menu - and they prepared me great food.
Even the prices are low for Michelin star restaurant. Worth visit!

After reading the reviews and mindful of this Pescara restaurant’s low ranking (outside the top 100), we were wary of dining here.
Our anxiety was entirely misplaced.
We enjoyed a fabulous seafood based week day lunch on the covered and gorgeous beachside terrace and were thoroughly spoilt by the maître de Flavio.
Even more memorable was the exceptional value of the “Smart Menu -Appetizer, First Course or Second Course, dessert - € 30” option.
With a fine bottle of wine, coffee and water, including amuse bouche, bread etc, we left less than 90 euros poorer but entirely satisfied.
