We were a group of 11 friends and family visiting Valencia for one week and we were recommended, if visiting Valencia we must come to this area to experience traditional local fare, especially Paella. When we arrived upon this row of food venues, this one of the first we passed boasted a set menu for 16 euro with Paella. Why... More

We had the set lunch here, a group of 11, during a day trip to Albufera. We had a salad starter, a large, delicious salad with tuna, egg and asparagus, followed by paella de Valencia made the traditional way with chicken, rabbit, snails and green beans. The paella came in 2 large pans and there was more than enough for... More

The biggest reason to come to this restaurant is its rice dishes. The other dishes are not that special, although we had some nice fish and seafood starters. Valencians come to El Palmar to try the paellas and arroz a banda, and this restaurant offers both of them and they are great. We found the arroz a banda delicious, one... More

Three of us sat for late lunch. We had the menu of the day. €14.50. Great salad with lots of ingredients. The others had cuttlefish which they enjoyed. The chicken and rabbit paella was fresh, moist and plentiful. Flan pudding was lovely. Friendly staff. Lovely sangria. Helpful with my coeliac friend. All round a great stop.

This Resaurant serves paella that I insisted was fish because I do not eat meat the only meat I will eat is fish and therefore I was expecting my paella to be extraordinary. It was with great disappointment when my paella arrived that I found it to be lacking somewhat of fish and in fact the it's was mainly thick... More

The food was okay and service good. It was an important part of a day out in Albufera. We spent a pleasant couple of hours in the February sunshine.

Traditional Valencian paella washed down with jugs of Sangria and followed by ice cream - just what was needed on a hot day after the boat trip around Albufera. The staff are very polite and helpful and they have a large outdoor seating area good for big groups and couples alike. Very relaxed atmosphere.

Not the most lovely surrondings in La Palmar but the food was excellent, the sangria was some of the best i have had and the price couldn't be beat.

Despite the initial misunderstanding with Planta's staff we managed to get menu in English and a waitress who spoke English. We really liked the food, especially deserts. We had eel with green garlic (yum!), snails (they ran out of sea snails on that day, but that's ok), sea food soup and lobster soup (this one was very average though; the... More
