Went there at the end of a business trip with my companions. Four of us split a paella, the other two got something else. I wouldn't say it was fantastic, but still it was very tasty, and the service here was excellent. They have several...More

I have high hope for this restaurant after heard so much about it. Well, I am not disappointed but not particularly impressed either. The paella is very good, unlike those touristy restaurants with very yellowy, half-cooked rice I have had. Here, the rice is flavourful...More

This restaurant was near our hotel and highly recommended by locals. We found it to be . a little too touristy and the paella was somewhat disappointing. The large serving of chicken, seafood and vegetable paella was mostly rice, not as seasoned as we thought...More

“You’ll have delicious paella” at this restaurant, our tour guide told us many times in advance of our arrival at the restaurant. Of course the tour company chose the restaurant for us. We were served two kinds of paella: one with various seafood and with...More

We dined in September, beautiful décor, good ambience, excellent service. The paella that we had was definitely the best we had in Spain! I highly recommend this restaurant and undoubtedly we'll dine there again.

Our airbnb host recommended this restaurant. We came by once without reservations and they could not seat us so we made reservations for the next night for dinner. This is a "nicer" restaurant so I wore slacks and a polo shirt instead of jeans. As...More

This restaurant was recommended by our hotel as having the best paella. In my opinion, the paella was nothing to write about, just plain basic seafood paella. The service was mediocre. I would not recommend this restaurant for its paella.

Just south of the sprawling campus of the Complutense
University of Madrid, Arguelles exudes a fast-paced,
collegiate vibe. The main street, Calle Princesa, is
filled with twenty-somethings rushing between classes
and errands, meeting up with classmates, and grabbing
cheap beers and cheap eats. This is a prime shopping
spot where the major Spanish clothing and department
store chains are less busy than their downtown

I agree that you will be fine eating alone. The pan of paella was shared among two people. I don't know if you can get a single serving but you should ask.
