We visited this restaurant last week. The food was very good and cheap. It's basically a selection of little sandwiches and they cost €1/€1.20/€2 each. 3 sandwiches is enough to fill a lady. I ordered 4 sandwiches and was unable to finish them because I...More

montaditos are tiny, but its great, because you can try much more tastes before will fill full. Difficult to find the table outside during sundays lunch time.

Very nice beer/cafe shop with breakfast and a lot of snacks (tapas) . Located all over Madrid with so many shops you can't miss them. Excellent variation of small plates. Typical Spanish dishes, a bit modernised, beers and spirits in very low prices!!! The majority...More

Nice cheap place where locals eat. Sandwiches are small and cheap: the nicest thing about this is that you get to choose more for less... Where to improve: hygiene (tables are dirty, floors are dirty and that means pigeons...)

We visited this cerveceria after going through the Royal Palace on a warm afternoon. The place offers a good selection of dishes at a set price, accompanied with beer.

Barrio de Salamanca
Broad, tree-lined avenues with pretty streetlights
frame the neighbourhood of Barrio Salamanca. With
beautiful condominium buildings that make up most
blocks in this area, this part of town is refined and
quiet. It is also host to a few of the city's large
shopping avenues, including Calle Serrano and Calle
Jose Ortega y Gasset. A walk down these streets will
