Since we ate here on two occasions in 2013 we thought to go back again. Well, to say we were disappointed is an understatement. On arrival at the restaurant at 7.30pm, it was almost empty, we were shown to a table by an obviously unhappy...More

This was located on a street with lots of Chinese restaurants and oddly all the staff here was Chinese. It was recommended by the hotel we stayed at. We had 4 ‘starters’ and we were glad that was all we ordered because they were very...More

Menu del mediodia at just over €11 was not only good value but lovely food and given that this was in the centre of Madrid I was very impressed. Thank you.

Gorgeous food and presentation. Amazing value for money. Fabulous wine and very very reasonable. Desert disappointing.

We were on the early side for dinner, but the staff was very accommodating. We had a wonderful bottle of Albariño and we're not rushed to order. The mixed green salad was light and delicious and we both had a chicken entree-my husband with cheese...More

Nothing impressive, nice location, good price for lunch. A word for the woman in suit at the entrance - a smile won't hurt. I felt like I was not welcome and bringing extra work to her job. Other staff are cheerful and helpful. Will surely...More

We came here after reading about it in the Lonely Planet. While the food was ok and well-priced I wouldn't bother coming back as it was nothing special.

Food was so-so. "Fish" tempura was not fish but a variety of seafood, cod gratinee with carmelized onions was extremely salty, and fish crepe was a mash. Overall, mediocre.

The food has nothing special, but service and quality according to price was great. The place is big and comfortable, can get a bit crowd, but is worth a visit in case you are in a rush.

Expansive plazas, local and foreign crowds, street
performers, colorful lights, window shopping,
restaurant signs promising the best paella, ham, and
churros con chocolate- this is downtown Madrid, a
collection of plazas interconnected by a network of
side streets. Some of these side streets are wide
pedestrian shopping routes, and some are hidden, so
it's possible to duck in and out of the bustle as
