We had breakfast here complementary with the room. Was very good. There is a buffet of cheese and meat and bread selections with croissant and muffin. And a menu for hot food and cakes.

Good ambience. Food is great. You don't know if you should eat or compliment the Chef. They give their best.

This restaurant and its clientele have changed a fair bit over the decades but standards are still very high.

We stayed here for 5 days and there was no attempt to get more vegetarian options. The food was average and nothing to write home about.

Indeed, a delightful experience, in every way. Selection, Service, location, ambiance. Don't missed it if you are staying at Villa Magna or are out for a stroll in Paseo de la Castellana.

Very efficient and friendly service. Limited menu, but of well cooked and well presented fresh food. Flavours definitely Asian, but toned down spices to suit the local palate. Prices very reasonable for a restaurant in a 5 star hotel, 100 Euros for two with a bottle of their house wine. Excellent stop for the weary shopper as this is next... More

Staying in Barrio de Salamanca

Neighbourhood Profile
Barrio de Salamanca
Broad, tree-lined avenues with pretty streetlights frame the neighbourhood of Barrio Salamanca. With beautiful condominium buildings that make up most blocks in this area, this part of town is refined and quiet. It is also host to a few of the city's large shopping avenues, including Calle Serrano and Calle Jose Ortega y Gasset. A walk down these streets will reveal upscale chains, small boutiques, and plenty of opportunities for shopping or checking out the stylish displays. The locals here are polished and fashionable, the atmosphere is leisurely, and the lush Retiro Park on the southern border is yet another opportunity to enjoy the outdoors. A stroll through Barrio Salamanca is all about admiring the beautiful architecture, window-shopping, and people-watching in this upper-crust corner of Madrid.
