Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

I'm in Madrid and wanted to eat at this restaurant for lunch I read the menu and scrolling through the voices of pasta, I read carbonara I make a premise I'm Roman from Rome and when I read about the carbonara menu, I felt like eating it Reading the ingredients, I preferred to decline my craving and did not enter I understand everything, that you want to adapt a recipe so that even in Spain it is appreciated, but to include among the ingredients of carbonara the onion and even Parmesan instead of percorino, is too much. Recommendation to the cook to stick to the original recipe

We had pasta and salad, for two persons which was a good quantity. You can choose different types of pasta with different sauces. Small restaurant quiet, we were able to speak without noise.

On a lonely business trip to Madrid and went to this place having read the reviews. I agree it's a great place, value for money and good for vegetarians. I nervously chose the pasta with pears but there was nothing to worry about. So creamy, the dull sweetness of the pears works so well in pasta. The place is colourful and clean and had good vibes, there were people at the bar enjoying a post work drink, and the staff were helpful. As a vegetarian it can be difficult to find good places to eat especially when you're hungry but this was a good choice for dinner today!

Small place and tasty food. We went for dinner after a long day at work and had a good plate of pasta. Ended the dinner with Tiramisu which absolutely heavenly.

It's good if you are in this location. And the pizza is very large for the price. It's affordable and they care about their products.

Nice place, friendly service, good food. Surprisingly not packed with office workers at lunchtime (their set menu is really good value for money). They have a terrace outside, it must be lovely out there when it gets warmer.

A very nice place with great Italian dishes, very close to a Metro station. Since we booked a table using TripAdvisor, we got an additional discount on top of the already reasonable prices. The asparagus mushrooms crepe was a wonderful starter and the fresh pear pasta was delicious. They also make good pizza and freshly squeezed orange juice. The only disappointment was the deserts that were mediocre. The staff was warm and kind. We had a great time!

We were looking for something to eat and came across this place by accident, from the outside it seemed modern and welcoming. Its a small cafe\bistro which seemed to always have people in it and there was an element of hustle and bustle about it but not enough to be off putting. Once seated the service was prompt and the friendly we had 2 starters and 2 mains but I would recommend only getting one starter between 2 as we struggled to finish everything. The food when it arrived was really nice and was of a high standard, during our meal the chef came out to make sure we were enjoying it, which was a nice touch but due to the language barrier wasn't an extensive exchange. It's not overly expensive and a meal for 2 with 2 starters, 2 mains and 4 small beers came to 50 Euros. Overall I'd recommend anyone to give this place a try its not fine dining but very good at what it is, which is great food in a nice atmosphere at a great price

A small trattoria , sort of place you could easily walk by and if you did you would miss a real gem. The food is simple, fresh and really really good and tasty and great value too.

We live nearby to this restaurant which used to be a chocolate and churros café some time ago. Our first visit to La Forchetta was unimpressive but we returned recently and were quite surprised at the excellent meals we had. We started out with the "crepes" (plural) but you get only one big one but it is delicious and satisfying. My wife and I both had pasta that was supremo! I had the "Fagottini De Ricotta" which was adorned with Asian Pear slices and had a pear sauce that was unique and wonderful. I never had eaten an Asian pear but I know what they are good for now. My wife had the "Vongole Pasta" which was similarly delightful with, if I recall, clams and a spicy sauce that had "gundillas" (red peppers) in it but it had just a nice tang to it and did not set your mouth on fire. We both used our bread to sop up the extra sauces which were delectable. For dessert we shared a very tasty tiramisu and I had a nice decaf. One thing that stuck us as different from our previous visit was that though the staff were the same they seemed much friendlier and accommodating to our baby stroller than upon our first visit. Maybe they were having a bad day but for this review the service and attitude of the staff were excellent. The chefs even played with my son. We got away with, including drinks and dessert, for 42 Euros - which was a bargain in our book.

Very good pizzas, good price and way better than dominos or Telepizza. If you buy to go, you get 50% discount which is a great deal.

They are quite friendly, I asked for a drink they give you olive tapas. They do their best to give you a good service during lunch and dinner times. The pizza was OK but I was expecting some wood flavour into the pizza ,as it's a Trattoria, not a normal pizzeria. I missed it.

This is a great Italian restaurant. The owner speaks English and was very helpful in interpreting the menu. The calzone was excellent as was the pizza. The ingredients were very fresh and the atmosphere was very relaxing. My only regret is that we did not find this restaurant the first day we were here.

The staff are very kind and welcoming, good ingredients are a thing. The dough was too heavy and it was like eating pizza inside a loaf of bread. It looks good but the dough is gummy and heavy, which is a shame.
