You should definitely go for a steak, they are all delicious and finely cooked. The starters are also quite good but not abundant. The side-dishes are paid separately, which drives up the price. Pleasant atmosphere.

I went there last year with a Friend. We had a starting to share and then some nice meat, really nice steak to share. All combined with one of the best Spanish wines from my point of view, Arzuaga. Restaurant was quite cool and calm, not loud at all. Staff was all right, no complaints.

Opening hours rather restricted - 12.. to 16.00 and 20.30 to 23.00 - so we chose 14.00. Warmly welcomed and seated quickly. Waiter spoke good English; explained the menu and took order for drinks. When delivered he took our order for meals. Reasonable time elapsed before our food was delivered. Steaks were absolutely perfect as were the accompaniments. Dessert also... More

Great jamon. Good selection of wines, including 3/8 bottles. Steaks cooked to perfection. Service a wee bit slow, but to an annoying degree.

Went there on my stag do on Saturday, 22 of us, everyone raving about the steaks, plenty wine(malbec) and beers and the bill came to less than 40 euros per head, the kobe beef was awesome!

Good location on the banks of the Manzanares river, simple 'authentic' interior decoration and amenable to some thorough cleaning and refurbishment. But staff was extremely friendely and efficient. And the food, especially the lomo alto, was delicious!

Description
An early 20th century detached house hosts a discreet restaurant located just by the river Manzanares, close to the Principe Pio railway station and shopping centre. A mixture of seasonal specials and selected Argentinean beef cuts, sirloin and T-bone, are all served in a peaceful environment with a garden terrace. It is an ideal stop after a stroll along the river banks.
