The fried fish is incredible. It tastes very fresh and lightly battered. The tortilla, cheese was good but the fish is the main attraction. Very traditional place where you can stand at the bar to eat and drink (there are a few tables also).

If you a quick great snack and refreshing beer for 4.10€ this is the place. The cod fritters were some of the best I've ever had. The atmosphere made feel like a local. It was an overall fun experience. Do it!

Bumped into this local "restaurant" with no tourists inside by accident and went back every dai in Madrid. If you are a snob like some previous reviewers who complained about dirty floors and service then stay away. If you want a great piece of deep...More

Small bar near Plaza Mayor where they serve amazing fried codfish (3€/piece). We were staying nearby and went there maybe 3-4 times just to eat their codfish which seems to be their most popular item. Don't expect great service or cleanliness, but do go there...More

Casa Revuelta is a small place near the Plaza Mayor, with just a few tables and a stand up bar. The evening we were there it was very crowded, loud, and happy. Everyone was eating the delicious fried fish, which kept coming out fresh and...More

This is a bar with great snacks. No coffee. Situated in this delightful square near Plaza Mayor. Great snack food and drinks. Friendly and efficient staff. Expect to stand as its usually packed at busy times. But worth it

A small place in La Latina, very popular with locals who were already lining up for the 7pm reopening of the bar following the after lunch closure and the place filled up really quickly. Service is friendly and quick. Most people have a small draft...More

It was a toss up where to try bacalao in Madrid, here or Casa Labra. As we came across Casa Revuelta first we gave it a go. Service was friendly and the bacalao absolutely delicious, highly recommend.
