Went for a quick breakfast coffee. The place is very nice and appealing and I guess prices are close to Madrid average. Carrot cake we had was ok (nothing special), but unfortunately, capuccinos were already quite cold when we got them. If looking for good...More

Best coffee in Madrid, ended up visiting everyday of my holiday to get my daily dose of caffeine! Excellent food and great vibes! A definite must visit if you're a coffee lover.

I understand why people like this place. Good coffee, great orange juice and nice vibe. However the whole ‘shout out’ the order system just does not work. I ordered coffee, food and orange juice and had to get up to the counter three times. I...More

Great place to stop for coffee and a small bite to eat. The orange juice is amazing and we were glad the delivery of oranges arrived while we were enjoying out coffee!

Pretty standard hipster coffee joint with the usual selection of coffee, cake and interesting clientele.

Toma Cafe has the best coffee in Madrid. They always have something new on the menu and are always experimenting. I’d recommend giving any of it a try. A good place to start your day, good tostas too

For those in need of a decent flat white this place is top of list. Quality beans and well made. Simple menu of toast, eggs and others is the perfect breakfast accompaniment.

Off the beaten path, but well worth the visit! Both the coffee and breakfast were really good, probably the best we had during our entire trip to Spain. They have a variety of toasts; we tried the strawberry and avocado. Both were made with really...More

We chose this place from all the rave reviews on trip advisor. I must say it was totally underwhelming and very disappointing. The tables and chairs are fit for children to sit at and are totally impractical. The breakfast, we had the avacado and egg,...More

Hip bars and galleries, independent theaters and music
venues, young people with tattoos and funky hair,
narrow winding streets — this is Malasaña. Near the
center, Plaza Dos de Mayo is a gathering of friends
outside bars, dog owners, artists under craft tents,
and creative types with notebooks and sketchpads on
the plaza’s benches. It may not be as neat and tidy as
