This was a perfect restaurant for our tour group of 16. We sat at tables for four in a cozy brick walled room. Supper started with cheese and meat and red wine. We were served family style and enjoyed every bite... right down to dessert and aperitif. The waitress and other servers were so friendly! What a fun evening!

We were part of a big group of 12 couples and I don't think they had ever catered a group. The décor and the tapas were decent. The main course fish and steak quality was terrible. A lots of us returned our food. When came the time to serve dessert they ran out crème Brule and many of didn't get... More

I went with a group of 47 tourists. The small restaurant amazingly took in all of us and the food came out very fast. The setting is like a cave. The roast suckling pig is of generous portion and done very well. The starter is salad and desert is ice cream.

Felt like you were dining in a cave! Very good food, and we were treated with a trio of mariachi performers. Had a great time.

As we were on a bus tour we had been booked in and were treated like royalty. The surroundings were different and quaint. The service was non stop with the staff joining in with the very fun evening.

The staff took great care of us and every dish they brought out was great. My family are vegeterains and the enjoyed some great dishes. I am certainly not vegeterain and enjoyed my fill of the Iberian... More

We were on a bus tour and this restaurant was our last night farewell dinner. Good service and fun entertainment. We were expecting paella however the set menu did not include this. The entree was nice and so was the dessert however the main course of pork (that I selected) was very fatty and not nice. Would still recommend this... More

The food is excellent, hope I could return soon. Staff extremely courteous and went out of their way to make us comfortable. Everyone is very helpful and attentive to any questions you may have. Luckily we all tasted everyone's meal so I tried the steak, salmon, paella and the desserts and Mmm... everything was simply delicious. When visiting Madrid, stop... More

Neighbourhood Profile
Hip bars and galleries, independent theaters and music venues, young people with tattoos and funky hair, narrow winding streets — this is Malasaña. Near the center, Plaza Dos de Mayo is a gathering of friends outside bars, dog owners, artists under craft tents, and creative types with notebooks and sketchpads on the plaza’s benches. It may not be as neat and tidy as many other parts of the city, but this only adds to the Malasaña edge. Shops and bars here range from hippie-crunchy to upscale trendy, and on weekends, the streets are bustling around the clock as the nightlife progresses from dinner to bar to disco to late-night food. On the west side of the neighbourhood is the subdistrict called Conde Duque, named after a large pink fort in its center that has been converted into a cultural center for exhibitions and performances. Prettier yet just as edgy, this intimate corner of Malasaña is home to a young international community.
