This is a small and beautifully decorated cafe in Salamanca district. They serve healthy dishes for breakfast, brunch and lunch. There is a great variety of different raw juices and smoothies, healthy toasts as well as more traditional treats like salmon bagel. We went here two days in a row for breakfast during our stay in Madrid to escape our... More

We were staying at the Barcello hotel down the road and came here for lunch upon our arrival and then every morning during our stay. Good salads, pastries, juices/smoothies and breakfast food (eggs Benny and avocado toast are popular). They also have acai bowls and "smoothie bowls". These fresh veggie/healthy options were such a refreshing treat in Madrid where it's... More

We came for a light lunch, they have a lot of healthy options. A little pricy but delicious. The place is cute and good music, a good option for a lunch date with friends.

I enjoy this place as it has great healthy salads. The thing is the Italian dressing was not fat free - they didn't know if it was or not but I suspect it wasn't - so ti ruins the healthy experience. The rest is great!

One of my favorites in Madrid for brunch, this place has a big choice of plates and drinks, they have different amazing brunch menus, although some a bit expensive but the quality is 10/10 . The place is super cozy and young, it has an american mood, the employees also speak english and they bring you the food in the... More

Went on a rainy day with a group of friends. The place is quite small - if you're going with a large group of people maybe try call and reserve the big table they have. They do a menu brunch which is a coffee juice and 2 dishes for 19 euros. Great quality food, great atmosphere and very cozy.

This is a cute, little restaurant, but I found it a bit pricey for the quality of food. I got eggs Benedict and a fresh juice. The eggs Benedict was a bit heavy on the hollandaise and the English muffin wasn't toasted enough

On a beautiful street in Barrio Salamanca, this is by far one of my favourite brunch places. However, it is a quite overpriced especially as you have to go up to the till to order and pay. A bagel is around €7 and the set menus do include a lot but I would still say that this is a bit... More

Staying in Barrio de Salamanca

Neighbourhood Profile
Barrio de Salamanca
Broad, tree-lined avenues with pretty streetlights frame the neighbourhood of Barrio Salamanca. With beautiful condominium buildings that make up most blocks in this area, this part of town is refined and quiet. It is also host to a few of the city's large shopping avenues, including Calle Serrano and Calle Jose Ortega y Gasset. A walk down these streets will reveal upscale chains, small boutiques, and plenty of opportunities for shopping or checking out the stylish displays. The locals here are polished and fashionable, the atmosphere is leisurely, and the lush Retiro Park on the southern border is yet another opportunity to enjoy the outdoors. A stroll through Barrio Salamanca is all about admiring the beautiful architecture, window-shopping, and people-watching in this upper-crust corner of Madrid.
