Outside terrace, inside bar or restaurant in all the service is very attentive and welcoming and the food quality very good. The speciality is Galician food which means not only it is very nice but also there is something for everybody.

Excellent restaurant in Madrid. Very expensive but very good. We had Alistados a la plancha ( big shrimps), very very nice. Then we had a salad of lobster and "carabineros" (big bright red shrimps), super; and finally dor a starters we had navajas. (See foto). For the main course 3 of us ( we were 4) had the baby cutles... More

It's all you can expect for a restaurant of this category. Elegant, quiet, exquisite and conventional. Good for business meetings o for a family gathering. Better for adults than for young people.

In the Salamanca area of Madrid, this fish-centric restaurant has impeccable service, English-fluent waiters and superb food. A multicourse dinner for two with wine was around 130 Euros.

Met an old friend in Madrid and he suggested we go to Sanxenxo a Galician restaurant, where fish and mariscos are the specialty. When we walked in I couldn't but notice the very elegant and upscale decor. Meals in Spain are supposed to be experiences and this was definitely one. I had the Turbot, grilled and it was out of... Like many others we were attracted by the reviews and knew we had made a mistake within a short time of arrival. Our booking was 8.30pm and we got the impression they were determined to get another booking at our table as the service was so fast it was rude. My wife's plate was removed before I had finished my... More

Base on the Tripadvisor review and friend's recommendation, I went. It was a disappointed experience. Seafood we ordered was so so. Oyster was not fresh. The red shrimp we had was ok. The fish we ordered were just taste ok too. Nothing special. Service can't say it was bad, but certainly not excellent. People served us the food as we... More

Traditional fish restaurant in Madrid. Friendly environment, excellent service. Seafood appetizers include shrimp, clams, octopus, sardines, chipirones, calamari. We ordered fileted Mediterranean sole as a main and it was cooked to perfection. Good selection of wines. Highly recommended!

I have never expected a seafood restaurant with such high level cuisine in Madrid , the city is almost 300 miles away from Galicia which is considered one of the best seafood centers in the world , this fantastic restaurant transports some of the best products overnight , the result is one of the freshest and tastiest seafood you will... Visited this place during a long stopover in Madrid for dinner. Unfortunately, they didn't serve percebes that night, so we ordered different fish, octopus and shrimps. Although the food was fresh and well prepared, I can't say it was something special, as we expected. The place itself is quite nice and service is excellent. As a result I could recommend... More
