Beside the wonderful artichokes and the good meat, we appreciated the warm service and the useful advices about the size of the portions.

This was my first time. The seating area in the front is small and if completely would be tight. There is more seating upstairs which I didn’t see. But the decorations are very well done. Three of us shared the artichoke flowers, fried octopus with...More

The place is cozy, and the food is amazing. Do not leave without having the artichokes. The Beef Tenderloin with Foi gras is incredible.

We introduced ourselves to Madrid cuisine by making this restaurant our first stop. It wasn’t planned. We happened to be at the Mercado de San Miguel on a Saturday which was packed and we were looking more for a full plate of food as it...More

Charming place in a nice neighbourhood of Madrid. The food is excellent, traditional dishes well served and almost too copious. The artichoke is a must but the squids and the different meat dishes were all perfect. Reservations are recommended because it is very busy.

Artichoke flowers, Sauvignon blanc white wine, and steak was great. Wok vegetables with prawns was unfortunately only okay (vegetables were soft-boiled instead of crisp and prawns tasted a bit "sandy"). However, staff was very friendly. I would definitely recommend to go there for the artichokes...More
