Enjoyed a fantastic meal. You can adjust the heat with different sauces. The portions are generous so go hungry if you're having a starter, best to share. Good value for money too. Definitely recommend

A very tasty food! I recomend! A bit pricey but you know that everythig that is good is a bit pricey. However i had a great meal there, the only thing i do not like is that they had no music, which made the restaurant a bit crouded like, coz the only thing you could hear in the sorroundings were... Typical mexican restaurant with an amazing atmosphere. The walls are painting with traditional paintings and covered with mexican jokes and folklore. The food is what you can expect from a good mexican place and the people there were very nice. Would recommend

We wandered by and decided to try this place and glad we did. Sat at the bar and although our server didn't speak English we still managed to communicate with no issues. I ordered the Half fajita and my husband ordered the full. There wasn't much difference between them. Food was very good and priced very reasonable.

i went there with a group of people and some kids...almost ten...so i had few things to try but honestly i think the mexican food could be better perhaps it is due to the fact it is a small chain...but not really impressed except for the design which is certainly amazing the staff is super so if you look for... If you're looking for good Mexican food like you can find in the states, this is a great place. They took their page right out of an American Mexican restaurant play book, right down to the multi-colored chairs and paper banners across the ceiling. The food is just like home too. The only hitch is, don't try to translate the... More

Service is really bad, the lady attending our table has a big attitude and the food is terrible...there are better Mexican restaurants in Madrid

we stumbled across this restaurant just around the corner from our hotel. The food was okay - we ordered pork, chicken, and mole tacos. Served white rice (not Spanish), large tortillas, and rather sweetish taste. Very nice decor and friendly staff. But I wouldn't say it was authentic and being from California I know what is authentic. Nice coronita beers... More

This was quite a nice surprise. We have been looking for an authentic Mexican restaurant for quite a while and thrilled to have found La Mordida. The mole, the horchata, the tacos...all were delicious. When it got to be very busy the staff struggled to keep up (including the kitchen) which would be my only small gripe. Other than that... Neighbourhood Profile
Expansive plazas, local and foreign crowds, street performers, colorful lights, window shopping, restaurant signs promising the best paella, ham, and churros con chocolate- this is downtown Madrid, a collection of plazas interconnected by a network of side streets. Some of these side streets are wide pedestrian shopping routes, and some are hidden, so it's possible to duck in and out of the bustle as desired. The iconic Puerta del Sol is the giant crossroads of the city and a must-see attraction at any time of the day. The nearby Plaza Mayor, completely enclosed by historic red buildings, is an ideal place to grab a bite to eat outside, amidst scores of tables and people out for a stroll. Plaza Isabel II (also known as “Opera”) is smaller and a good meeting spot, and the stately Plaza del Oriente is the front yard of the Royal Palace. Centro can be touristy (pickpockets are unfortuately not unheard-of here), crowded, and sometimes gimmicky, but it is also the place to experience classic Madrid.
