I don't like leaving poor reviews, but this place deserves them. The portions are very small and overpriced for what you get. Our waiter messed up our order and then insisted we pay for food we did not order, even though he admitted it was...More

This restaurant was right by our hotel and we ate there a couple of nights. They offer a variety of tapas and traditional Madrid food. They also have a great variety of local wines. Both the food and the service were great.

One of the few places where you can have an early lunch - which is a plus for foreigners. Staff was friendly (we‘ve been the first guests at 12:30) and spoke English. The tapas are okay but for that a tad too pricey. Just a...More

Maybe the nearest restaurant to museum of prado, so as to relax after visiting this gorgeous museum. The food wasn't special or actually tasteful. The tortilla de xii siegle was a gourmet version but i wouldn't recommend it. I wouldn't go again. Friendly stuff. Nice...More

This is a tapas place, so customers order a few dishes, eat them, and then order a few more. I went in because I saw pigs foot with squid noodles and squid ink gravy on the posted menu. That may sound weird but it’s the...More

As with so many, we spent several hours in the Prado in the morning and were looking for somewhere nearby to sit down with a beer. This was perfect for that. The staff were really friendly and didn't mind we didn't want to eat much....More

We had a light dinner, went because of the reputation of the place. It was not an overall pleasant experience, although the food if pretty good, it seemed some dishes are largely overpriced (example Patatas Bravas.) We could not have dessert because the waiter jus...More

Just had dinner at estado puro! Nicely decorated with comfortable seating! We had the anchovy tomato and basil toast; mushroom, and ham croquettes; potatoes with spicy sauce! And paella! Everything was delicious and well presented! Saw the ribs and cerviche at other tables and they...More

Parmesan ice cream? Is this dinner or an episode of iron chef? The traditional food that they cool here is great, but they should stick with executing standards.

Paseo del Prado
The area around the elegant Paseo del Prado boulevard
is much-visited by both locals and tourists. The
world-famous Prado, the Reina Sofia, and the
Thyssen-Bornemisza museums form a triangle of art and
culture that spans this grand and beautiful avenue. On
weekdays, the Prado Museum opens its doors for free
after-work hours, drawing a diverse and excited queue
of art lovers that wraps around the block. Palacio de
