Considering the great location the prices for large beers here were not as expensive as they could be. We didn't eat here, apart from the Olives we got with our drinks, but the buffet looked good. The staff were very friendly and efficient here.

We just came by this restaurant at lunch, buffet style all you can eat 9.95 euros. The best value. Delicious, packed with locals so you know it's good, close to the metro, look it up, its brilliant.

There is a pizza and paella menu too but paella is €13. Howevere better value is the Monday to Thursday all you can eat buffet when it is on all day. Then it changes it's times on Friday. We first went on a Tuesday for under €10 (no drinks included). Food was warmer than other buffets in Madrid. You can... More

After a long day at museums we didn't want to travel far for food. Topolino was just down the street. The atmosphere is nothing notable. Food is average. Salads are fresh. Variety of choice is ok for the low price. If you're not starving or on a very strict budget - there are better places.

Visited here on our first night, food was okay and plentiful and I could not knock the service. Many better places to eat but a good value place to eat if on a budget.

Staying in Centro

Neighbourhood Profile
Centro
Expansive plazas, local and foreign crowds, street performers, colorful lights, window shopping, restaurant signs promising the best paella, ham, and churros con chocolate- this is downtown Madrid, a collection of plazas interconnected by a network of side streets. Some of these side streets are wide pedestrian shopping routes, and some are hidden, so it's possible to duck in and out of the bustle as desired. The iconic Puerta del Sol is the giant crossroads of the city and a must-see attraction at any time of the day. The nearby Plaza Mayor, completely enclosed by historic red buildings, is an ideal place to grab a bite to eat outside, amidst scores of tables and people out for a stroll. Plaza Isabel II (also known as “Opera”) is smaller and a good meeting spot, and the stately Plaza del Oriente is the front yard of the Royal Palace. Centro can be touristy (pickpockets are unfortuately not unheard-of here), crowded, and sometimes gimmicky, but it is also the place to experience classic Madrid.
