You can see why this was the Number 1 Michelin star restaurant for years. It’s not just food, it’s an entire experience. Perfect service, selection of wines and the degustation feels like the food never ends. Each so thoughtfully prepared meal is art in itself....I probably will never get to experience this again, but I will always remember the experience forever.More

My expectations were very high. Unfortunately, they were not totally met. Service was very good, apart from the start when we arrived at 8:05 pm and was directed to the table but then left alone for 10 minutes without anybody telling anything or asking whether...we would like aperitif, water or something. Food was very good but not 3 star. For example Azurmendi, Abac, Arzak and Martin Berasategui are at totally different level. Apart from all other dishes, all desserts were fantastic. Not worth of all the hype. Not worth of extremely difficult reserving and then waiting for a year. Unfortunately it seems they have lost their ambition.More

This is the best experience I ever had. We are going to come back. It can’t be better than this. It’s difficult to describe how good it is.

From the moment we arrived to the moment we left, our experience of El Celler de Can Roca was nothing short of amazing. The ratio of staff to tables is ridiculous and the whole service is slick and smooth with dishes constantly arriving and being...cleared, new cutlery being laid, matching wines being explained and served. We had the 18 course feast menu with the dessert A Trip to Habana being subsituted without question for one of us and matching wines which included a sublime 1967 Garnacha, an expensive Katsuyama Gen sake and a delicious, sweet, sticky Matilla-Morilles. Lunch took over 4 hours and we still weren't rushed, being offered the garden to relax with coffe and liquers. Given the amount of food we had, the quality of the ingredients and the cooking processes involved together with the amouint of staff needed to serve it was good value at Euro 225 per person. The matching wines at Euro 110 was incredible value. Clearly, this menu isn't to everyones taste and to some would seem very expensive but as a dining experience in a 3-star Michelin restaurant that has twice been voted the best in the world, we felt very priveleged. Meeting Josep Roca after our lunch was the highlight.More

What a show what a show, gastronomic theatre is what it is. From the kitchen tour before you sit down to the wine cellar tour at the end of your meal it was just perfect. I'm not going to get into the dishes and the...wines except to say the were incredible, as you just need to experience it .More

I will never forget this experience. My friend was on the waiting list for a year and then got a booking confirmed for the following year. I was on of the lucky 8 chosen. Great company, magnificent food and wine, amazing ambience. Such talented chefs....Innovative! The cost is reasonable for the quality and quantity of dishes and wine.More

We visited Girona once we got a table at this Netflix-featured and 3 star Michelin restaurant. We chose the feast seasonal tasting menu (both menus are pictured) with the wine pairing. Considering the number of courses, we highly recommend that wine pairing which had some...interesting including 1994 Rioja and 2001 Côte Rôtie. There was also beer, sake and a sherry. Wonderful experience with great service.More

Everything is perfect. The ambience, the staff, obviously the food and wine, the theatre of the food presentation. For me it is the best in the world.
