This place came recommended by the hotel we were staying at. We went at lunch time and had to wait for a table. We could have opted for the set menu for €18.50 but settled instead for the a la carte. I ordered the the cod fish cheeks with cockles and asparagus and my partner ordered cuttlefish with meatballs. My... More

Very nice service but the food is overpriced and the portions are small. They had no soft drinks for kids and very few child friendly dishes. Better to visit this place between adults, when you are feeling rich and can enjoy their good wine selection!

Had a fabulous meal out with friends, celebrating a special birthday. Staff were the best I have ever come across in a restaurant and the food was delicious. Had such a relaxed time and felt very spoilt!

We stopped for lunch and had a pleasure to enjoy a lovely 3 course meal. We were served by friendly waiters who recommended local beers - both were good. We chose a set menu at €16.50 which turned out to be a great value - tasty tuna salad, egg and blood pudding to start with followed by lovely fish served... More

A notch up from plain tapas, the portions are bigger and the food is of greater detail. It was all fantastic food and wine, with good recommendations coming from the staff. All seasonal ingredients with the menu changing daily, brilliant. Would definitely go back.

Great staff who attentively explained the origin of the wine. Really creative dishes and just a nice cultured place. My friend enjoyed and overall it was one of the most enjoyable lunches I've had. The sweet potato dessert was amazing.

A bit on the pricier side for tapas, but the food is great and once of the few places with real atmosphere in Girona.

Loved this place. Under some arches in the Old Town. The Menu del Dia was great value at Euro 16.50 (September 2016). Just the right sized portions for midday, and the cooking is of a high quality. The house white wine was delicious (Can Sais Mestral). We went back a few days later. Would thoroughly recommend.

I had heard that the owner of this restaurant had won several sommelier awards. We were looking for somewhere we could taste some Catalan wines. We stopped by for a glass of wine...which turned out to be very very good. Having looked at the menu as well as what other patrons were eating, we decided to eat lunch there the... More

Interaction with the waiters was very good. They appreciate my effort to speak Spanish but easily swapped to English. Enjoyed the bread with tomato and anchovies. Really good flavor mix and interesting taste opposites. The patatas bravas were amongst - if not the best - ones I have tried. Crispy on the outside. Perfectly cooked on the inside paired with...
