Judging by the menu and the amount of business this place was doing, we assumed we were in for a treat (or at least a standard meal) - we were wrong! We opted to sit in the outdoor seating, and were told to seat anywhere we pleased. We found a table, and waited... and waited... and waited. Many servers, bussers,... More

Not sure we are at the same place as the others ! Food was good and reasonably priced. Drinks also, and the house red was good. Really good mixture of local people and us tourists using the restaurant. No complaints at all. So much nicer than the R***r Cafe opposite. A really good reasonably priced place to eat and drink.... We went to this place because we arrived very tired at night to Girona and the other restaurants we tried did not have A/C and it was very hot. We ate outside, the sandwiches were almost empty and in general the food was really bad. I think this is a place for college kids to drink beer. Bad experience.

We stopped for dinner with my friends in a cycling tour. The place has an unique athmosfare, but the foods... let's say,it was the worst Ceasar salad in my life. They made the chicken and the cruttons in an oil witch have used before to fried salmon... and the waiter forget to bring one of the burgers, and when we noticed it for... The title speaks for itself. My husband and I were extremely hungry and stumbled upon this restaurant. The outdoor patio looked inviting so we figured, why not... Well, we should have kept walking. The meat on the "ham sandwich" we ordered seemed comparable to cheap bologna. With being so hungry, we didn't finish our meal and ordered food elsewhere.

We went to this restaurant as had enjoyed a previous meal in the Konig in Independence Square (I think that is what it is called) - should not have bothered! The staff have the most amazing ability to avoid eye contact, bark orders at customers and generally throw things about! The manager, I assume as she had an earpiece, was... More

I had lunch here with my husband and 2 children. Even though the place was packed, we were seated quite quickly. The food was very average, nothing memorable. Very little flexibility for different requests for the children, at they forgot 3 different plates ordered. Good location but I wouldn't hurry back.

Stopped at this restaurant for drinks only on a very hot and humid afternoon, however having seen some of the plates go to other diners we decided to have something to eat. Food was a lovely pleasant suprise, salads were fresh, tasty and plentiful, I had a focaccia sandwich with goats cheese and salad which was lovely, my sons and... More

My girlfriend and I often lunched here while our husbands were off cycling around the countryside. It's a cool haven on a hot day with trees and friendly waiters - although too many smokers! The food is good, and although the menu was vast, we kept choosing pretty much the same things to order for some reason.

We opened our first store in February 1973. We are a source of Girona. The obvious references to explain that German food is adopting the name of Konig (king in German) and today the figure is crowned king of all elements present in the restaurants of the company. We currently have seven stores in the province of Girona. And in November 2013 we opened a new restaurant in the city center of Barcelona. From the first moment we had the goal of providing the best possible service and quality to satisfy our customers. We try to be a leader with our offer sandwiches, German-style sausages and various tapas and dishes from our menu.
