Very nice visit! Calm place, very good cuisine. A nice spot to enjoy traditional food... A nice surprise and a place to come back!

Yesterday i went with my friends to have something to drink. They told us okay but "make sure u leave by 8:15 because we will start dinner". We ended up paying for some tapas so that we could stay. I will never go back.

Good place to take a traditional catalán cuisine. There aren't a lot in Barcelona, so it's a good option if you want these kind of meal. Truita de xanguet ( a type of omelette) and mandonguilles amb sèpia o amb bolets ( type of meatballs) it's a must take.

Had a quick late lunch. I had dish of the day which was lamb and French fries. Very tasty. The very thin French fries was a nice surprise. Family had spaghetti with tomato sauce and minced meat which was rather boring. Nice waiter and service although rather pricey.

Excellent food, comfortable environment and friendly service. This is place in the city center, close to Paseo de Gracia and Plaza Catalunya, where you will enjoy a very pleasant gastronomic experience.

A friend of mine recommend me this restaurant and I finally went with my aunt for lunch. I was not disappointed. They serve very good traditional Catalan food. My aunt asked the paella, and it was great, with the rice at its exact cooked point. I tasted a delicious tuna with tomato sauce. This is a place to have lunch... More

Went with friends on our first night in Barcleona as it was opposite our hotel and it was very average. A small family restaurant with no pretentiousness but also not much comfort or atmosphere. The welcome was good and prompt and drinks served quickly and the waiter was really helpful in our choice and the starters were really very good.... More

We dined here twice and were very happy with the food, service, and prices. Our first meal was late in the evening and I had the last serving of paella. It was exceptional, with intense flavors, maybe because it was the last serving. The second meal was with our entire group of six travelers. Everyone enjoyed their meal, ranging from... More

Staff were kind and lovely. It was one of the pricier restaurants in the area. My friend ordered kidneys which is exactly what she got. Rinsed and baked/fried. Salad was fresh but devoid of any taste. I have read other reviews. They were very kind

Located on a quiet street away from the more touristy areas. The staff, and particularly the chef, were very friendly and helped our group of six non-Spanish speakers with their menu. Our selections ranged from a very good paella to a large tuna salad that could have been shared. The restaurant is small and narrow so you can see the... More

Neighbourhood Profile
Passing through the glorious Plaça Catalunya, you enter the newer city district of Eixample, literally translated as “extension,” which immediately becomes recognisable by its more spacious streets and elegant atmosphere. The main artery of this sizable district, Passeig de Gracia, is lined with high-end international designer stores. Not to be outdone, the glitz and glamour of this zone is perhaps best exemplified by the comfortable and lavish five-star hotels that flank the divine and modernistic buildings from some of the world’s most recognised architects such as Gaudi and Montaner.
