We were told of this place by our Airbnb host, and were more than happy to put our name on the list and wait 30 minutes as advised by the host. However thirty minutes passed by and people who arrived after us were being seated...More

Amazing food, recommended by a local, enjoyed the seafood, allioli on toast, grilled artichoke (best in Barcelona) in a very friendly family run restaurant. Come when it's not busy. We ate here twice. We understand some visitors make a beeline here first after being away...More

What a great find in Barcelona! Authentic, ideal for a little beer with something (delicious) to eat, old-style noisy neighbourhood bar, unpretentious..

So we happened upon this place on our first day in Barcelona. It’s cash only, and they hardly spoke English, but they treated us well. They brought us the started fare of tapas —pulpi, squid, cod, pan con tomate, and bombas. It was the most...More

This place is amazing. I would come back to Barcelona Just for this place alone. We didn’t know about it but saw people going in and how much interest there was in such a modest looking restaurant. The owner and waitress were super kind with...More

We really wanted to have tapas and La Cova Fumada was the perfect place. The restaurant is a rustic, genuine, small place. The staff was amazing and everything we ordered was delicious. The "bombas" were our favourite, but we also loved the aioli bread, the...More

Off the beaten track a little but a really fun place that gets PACKED so be prepared to wait. Bombas were awesome, local cheap wines and beer. A great place to get a feel for eating inexpensively. Fun to watch the family run place keep...More

Originally a fisherman’s quarter, this quaint area
can’t escape its small village feel: laundry hanging
over the narrow streets, old ladies clamoring at each
other from their balconies and elder gentlemen playing
games on short wooden benches gossiping the day away,
Barceloneta could double as a film set. Artists line
the boardwalk displaying their magnificently detailed
sand structures making this the most visited beach in

No reservations for this place... As soon as you arrive you give your name to the waiter... If you go in the weenkend, go early because they close really early. It normally takes arround 20min to get seated. ENJOY!
