Amazing place. Cheap prices. Excellent sea food-especially callamari alla pancha and merluza alla plancha. Bottle of house wine-4 euro. Dinner for 4 adults and 4 childrens with two bottles of house wine-90 euro. Don't miss the place

Went with a group of friends. There were 7 of us and we got there at about 8.10. It opens at 8.The place was packed but you go in give a name and how many seats you want and then the chap calls people in, depending on the free tables. As there were 7 of us, it did take time... More

We stopped here for lunch when walking back into town from the beach. It was filled with locals and we really enjoyed our fish and salad. Very well priced and tasty with a true local feel.

We had spent a bit more of our euro this day than expected and were ahead of schedule for the day, but had wanted to eat here and took the chance that we would have enough cash on us for a meal. And so, we arrived ahead of the time the locals seem to like to eat and had a... More

The bad news: This is a small restaurant with only a few tables, and you can´t reserve a table. And, once you get in, the personnel will tell you where you can sit, so you get limited choice. (They´re simply optimizing the capacity, by not letting couples sit at a table for 4, for instance. The good news: If you... More

This is a very good place to taste local seafood. You will struggle to communicate if you don't know any spanish but this is just the best thing to it. Some street musicians would come in to do a short performance and it adds something into the eating experience. They do have menu written in different languages. Price is reasonable... More

Nice experience there. Much Better than those ocean view restaurant. Fresh fish served there. If you want to go local instead of spending more than what's worth in restaurant for tourists, this is the best choice

Went here after reading the reviews on Tripadvisor. And was not disappointed. The food was great, and the service was good. Language was an issue with the staff, but they were helpful all the same. Definitely try the seafood. The Sangria ... not so great.

We got to Can Mano late at night but there was still a waiting list of 4-5 groups of people. Don't be intimidated by this, go inside, buy a beer and sit on the sidewalk till they'll call you. It worth the wait. Even though this is not the best seafood we had in Barcelona it's still very good and... More

We were very lucky, as we had a rented apartment literally across the road. We didn't know anything about Can Mano, it was the apartment owner who recommended it as we checked in. Obvious to see this was no sales pitch by the evening, as there was a constant queue on the street, literally from doors opening to closing (it's... More

Staying in Barceloneta

Neighbourhood Profile
Barceloneta
Originally a fisherman’s quarter, this quaint area can’t escape its small village feel: laundry hanging over the narrow streets, old ladies clamoring at each other from their balconies and elder gentlemen playing games on short wooden benches gossiping the day away, Barceloneta could double as a film set. Artists line the boardwalk displaying their magnificently detailed sand structures making this the most visited beach in the city (the shirtless men working out might help too). You’ll know by the delicious aroma that you're in the right place to try some of the best and most authentic seafood including paella, Spain’s national dish.
