When we passed by, a lot of people where in a line to get in. By chance we decided to go and had the last table. It is basic, with fresh ingredients from the sea. We had grilled squid, sardines, fries anchovis, fried aubergines and...More

All the practical infos you can find in other reviews. We got there at 7.45pm and were seated promptly when it opened at 8pm. And were out of there by 8:35pm. Good chips from real potatoes, good grilled tomatoes. Not-quite-fresh fish (Anchovies and Hake) battered...More

As a visitor, it would be highly presumptuous to presume to know what a genuine local tapas bar looks like but this restaurant does deliver on straightforward tasty plates of food at seriously low prices. Service is friendly and attentive - even if you are...More

This place is very nice and colorful home restaurant. There are a lot of people. You need to stay in line to come in. The prices are law, the dishes are unusial and tasty. They cook rather quick.

Get there early if you don't want to wait for a table for quite a while. If you don't you will have all the fun to drink beers on the pavement while you wait for a table to become available. The food is very good...More

Everything you read about this restaurant is true. It is super cheap compared to the rest of Barcelona, the street and condition it is in looks stolen from Havana, Cuba. you gotta put your name on a list, the owner says ‘twenty minutes’ to everyone...More

This place opens at 8pm and no earlier. Arrive any later than 8pm and expect to wait for a table. The decor does not look like anything special and it is clearly a family run business. The waiters only speak Spanish and Catalan. We ordered...More

Originally a fisherman’s quarter, this quaint area
can’t escape its small village feel: laundry hanging
over the narrow streets, old ladies clamoring at each
other from their balconies and elder gentlemen playing
games on short wooden benches gossiping the day away,
Barceloneta could double as a film set. Artists line
the boardwalk displaying their magnificently detailed
sand structures making this the most visited beach in
