Stayed nearby and stopped in for dinner. We had drinks, shared several tapas, and everything was great. Fairly picky on my seafood being from the Pacific Northwest but I must say you have to try the mussels.

We loved this place! The atmosphere, the friendly staff and THE BEST tapas we had whilst in Barcelona, We were even given two glasses of champagne. I will come back every time i am in Barcelona. The prices were slightly more than nearby places but definitely worth it. The Aubergines in honey were out of this world and the cream... More

Happened on this place cruising the streets on a mini- gastronomic tour. Looked like a great vibe compared to the 3 restaurants around it. Waiters were nice, attentive. Shared a few tapas. The fish ceviche and the rocket/arugula salad were great. I'd go back!

I think it is hard to get a bad meal in spain, specially in barcelona, but I just the worst meal ever at Bar Lobo. On the good side the service is good, waiters are very friendly and attentive, but the food is truly bad

At the recommendation of our hotel, we went to Bar Lobo for the last dinner of our vacation. We arrived around 9:00 pm to a very busy restaurant. The patio and first floor looked lively and fun. We were seated upstairs where it seemed one waiter was on the job. The waiter was abrupt and (for lack of a better... More

We love Lobo, amazing food, always fresh and superb products, never been dissapointed. BUT now our favourite, Apple Juice made when you order , you can no longer get ! just some small bottles with juices. Everytime I had a glass of wine and my partner had Apple juice, one of the highlights of of our breakfasts and evening dinners,... More

This small bar is sort of Bohemian and Chaotic, but the service was good, as well as timely. The food was good. There is good selection, and we found at the end of the day when we were exhausted that this was a good place to go to. It was recommended to us by the LeMeridien concierge. And one of... More

We had lunch in Bar Lobo twice during our recent visit to Barcelona. The food is excellent and there is a great buzzy atmosphere inside. It is popular with locals (always a good sign) and the service is quick. Excellent range of drinks available and I can recommend the Beercelona craft beer, which, although described as a lager, tastes more... More

Group of 12 visited for dinner recently. Shared tapas were mediocre at best. Drinks service was appalling and we often had to wait over 15 minutes for drinks. Bill came in just under €40 per person which was very high for the standard of food. Also the restaurant is not at all wheelchair / disability friendly. The main bathrooms are... More

Staying in El Raval

Neighbourhood Profile
El Raval
Once a downtrodden corner of downtown Barcelona, this gritty area has seen a cultural resurgence boasting an excellent nightlife and one of the most multi ethnic spots in the entire city. A sense of humble authenticity protrudes from the many independent record stores, second hand shops, and student bars that seem to light up the streets day and night. The rocking epicenter, the MACBA Plaça, is a modern day forum for bohemian youth, abuzz with the sights and sounds of late-night gatherings and talented skateboarders showing off their latest tricks.
