I like this restaurant. It's located centrally, easy to reach, about 40 metres walk from La Rambla. Right across the street is Le Meridien hotel. Went there with my colleagues. Very good tapas and wine. Very prompt waiters. I was full but they kept bringing tapas. Cake also delicious. Recommend this place.

Nice little court to have some wine and enjoy the Barcelona way of live. Be sure to ask for the fried eggplant and tuna tataki. Special thanks to Leandro, a very special person that made it even nicer for us!

This was our first visit to Bar Lobo and a secret find that happened purely by accident walking off the tourist part.. We managed to come at the right time on both occasions and managed to sit & eat outside in the sunshine. Atmosphere was electric, cute laid out table with table clothes, cute lights and cute little pots N... More

Recommended by our hotel on the Ramblas, which was very close. A busy back street, off the beaten track. Great outside sitting in a small square, but plenty of inside space. A varied menu, great friendly Service. We had a salad with warm goats cheese, deep fried asparagus sliced egg plant in honey and soya sauce, meatballs with squid and... More

I’ve been to Bar Lobo two times, and both times the food has been astonishing. First time was with a group of friends in August 2015. We had almost everything on the menu, and there was not a single thing that wasn’t good! This time, the menu had changed a bit, so we tried out some new things. We had... More

Great place for a long lunch or dinner. Overlooking a square that has been upgraded with a number of new restaurants and outdoor seating areas. Food is fresh and light. We had the hummos, fried artichokes, gazpacho, goat cheese salad and jamon iberico. All were in reasonable servings at good prices.

Great location, fantastic tapas. Bit slow service. The duck with glazed onions was amazing. Would definitely go back!

Staff was friendly and the tapas were excellent. The chicken tandoori had a very nice fusion twist. Great area of the city with lots of activity.

Staying in El Raval

Neighbourhood Profile
El Raval
Once a downtrodden corner of downtown Barcelona, this gritty area has seen a cultural resurgence boasting an excellent nightlife and one of the most multi ethnic spots in the entire city. A sense of humble authenticity protrudes from the many independent record stores, second hand shops, and student bars that seem to light up the streets day and night. The rocking epicenter, the MACBA Plaça, is a modern day forum for bohemian youth, abuzz with the sights and sounds of late-night gatherings and talented skateboarders showing off their latest tricks.
