Discovered this restaurant by accident, on our way to another restaurant. Menu looked ok. The restaurant is located in a nice typical neighbourhood that is less touristic than the Rambla f.ex. We got a table quite fast, despite us not having a reservation. We selected some dishes from the menu which is a 'weird' combination of tapas and TexMex. The... More

One of the most beautiful restaurants' interiors I've been, very elegant but not too much. Food of course is good as well, good choice of traditional and international tapas.

Not to mention a beautiful interior with arched brick ceilings. If you are like me and you don't like the evening food selection at most restaurants then you must... More

We had to wait for 20 minutes to get our table. But the tapas well-varied, big portion, and tasty. The district is nice

Gourmet food, romantic atmosphere, polite staff. It is recommended to book a table in advance, but if you don't, you may have to wait for 15 minutes or so. The waiters are very fast. The grilled salmon with pumpkin puree and the lamb with broccoli mousse are fantastic.

I was here with a group for a birthday dinner and unfortunately the service was incredibly slow. We asked for a mojito that we ordered 4x and waited an hour before getting it. The food arrived randomly and very slowly. There seemed to be 3 people working and we weren't the only large group. The goat cheese salad was amazing... More

Fun dinner with friends. Loved the cava sangria, the cod croquettes and the tenderloin with carmelized onions

Staying in El Born / La Ribera

Neighbourhood Profile
El Born / La Ribera
The labyrinth that is El Born becomes most apparent the moment you turn down one of its side streets. But this is one of the few labyrinths you might actually enjoy losing your way in. After all, there are few places that live and breathe such exciting energy regardless of the time of day. This neighbourhood seamlessly transcends the old and new parts of the city, reflected in its vast array of restaurants ranging from fancy Michelin-star establishments to trendy fusion restaurants. Here you'll find historical and cultural attractions such as the popular Picasso Museum and the Gothic cathedral La Santa Maria del Mar, where you just might be able to catch a traditional Catalan wedding.
