Visited the 'El Foro' as the restaurant looked spacy, warm and inviting and was basically a steak house specialising in imported Argentinean meats. The restaurant is divided into the main lounge, private rooms, a terrace and a downstairs club. The service by the waitress was extremely polite and informative advising us on the wines to accompany our meal. We were... More

We raise beef cattle in Canada and apart from our home grown steaks, this was the next best we have had in any restaurant around the world. The rib eye steaks were so tender and full of flavour. Very friendly and helpful waiters helped us pick amazing starters and sides. Can't say enough about this restaurant. Do not miss the... More

Oh boy. I don`t like to write bad reviews. But now I have to. The food was no good. We are really disappointed, because the place looked so good. Spacy, nice, warm, elegant. Walking from La Sagrada Familia, via Arc de Triumph, to the old city, we came across this resraurant. Needed dinner. NIce and polite waiter. Good wine. But... More

Discovered this restaurant by chance on our last day in Barcelona looking for some lunch. Food was lovely and well presented. I had the margarita pizza, it had a generous amount of cheese. Girlfriend had ravioli in a pomodoro sauce. We particularly enjoyed the sangria as it tasted different to other restaurants, a lot fresher! Service was prompt but not... More

Went here because a family friend highly recommended it. Had many dishes, most of which were average. Smoked salmon risotto special was the best of the bunch. Not tapas. Inexpensive by American standards. Service was fairly attentive, not overly friendly. Wouldn't go again.

We want for a late afternoon lunch. Restaurant was almost empty but we felt a little bit not welcomed when arriving, the waitress was quite rude. Another waitress came with the menus and she was friendly and helpful. We ordered Beef ribs, duck breast, pizza and smoked salmon risotto and all of them were really tasty and fresh.

We were looking for a restaurant with a good atmosphere, where we could get a pleasant meal. We were short of time as we were due to attend a concert. I explained this to the lady who was serving who took the matter in her stride. I had a steak which was cooked to perfection. This service was brisk [at our... More

This was in the beginning of December 2016. They were full-up but managed to find a place for us after waiting only 5 minutes. Friendly and fast service, but most importantly amazing food.

We visited this restaurant twice, both times for the delicious steaks that were extremely well priced compared to other restaurants. Service was good and sitting in the sun was a bonus. Just be prepared for a terrace charge (2 euros per person)

"A place where gastronomy, art and culture come together"

An Argentinean restaurant in "El Born", Barcelona

The restaurant has the appearance of a French bistro, the ambience and decor are part of its charm, but above all, what makes it special and what explains the resounding success is that it is an Argentine restaurant in Barcelona, that offers quality –and price.

We offer an extensive menu with meats imported from Argentina, famous for its cut, taste and quality; handmade pastas; pizzas and grilled cheeses (like the famous provolone) . At noon, from Tuesday to Friday, we offer a menu of Mediterranean fusion cuisine, comprising a cream soup followed by a starter ,main course and desserts . Drinks are also included. There are four types of meat on the menu, these include an authentic Argentinean grill called "Criollo", plus another grill from the La Pampa region called "Pampero" and the Patagonian mixed Grill.

The restaurant has a few private rooms for groups, located on the main floor. In the cellar, known as "El Foro Club" is a space available for a more intimate dinner or simply to have a drink.
