Used to be good under previous management but we had a menu of the day, the fish was bland and served with bland potatoes but even worse was my sausage kebab skewer the meat was hard as rock so could not eat it . we skipped desert as didn't look inviting . we advised the waiter who didn't give a... We were very early in the restaurant, so there was not much going on yet. We ate the house paella and grilled fish. I found the paella to be quite good but the fish platter was over cooked. The lobster on paella was also over done. The food and the wine was decently priced. The service was also very good,... More

Place was busy which we thought was a good sign...yeh nah! After our order was taken it was a full 5 minutes for drinks to arrive, I can accept that cos they were busy. We were told house paella would be 20 minutes...fair enough & also got mixed grilled fish Ended up not getting our food until 45 minutes later.... More

The food was ok, but the amount is not, the service is very slow, we arrived at around 9pm and we got to eat our starters at around 10.20pm and got our main courses at around 11.20pm. At this time, we couldn't eat all that huge quantity of food. Also, starters are way too big for starters, they are almost... More

Edible but that's it. We played safe 3 paellas and 1 calamari alla romana to share, yet the calamari were the typical frozen calamari you can get at Tesco and the paella was too watery and the rise way too overcooked. Again, edible after a day out but not if you are looking for taste and soul of the region.... More

Spanish bar and restaurant, patronised by lots of locals. We were a party of 8 baby boomers, eating early (for Spain), all having something different and all said what a good first choice we'd made. Staff really friendly. The main chef was off the evening we went and one of the waiters/bar staff was in charge of the cooking. He... More

My husband and I found this restaurant by accident and Im so glad we did! We each had a dish of the day. I had paella and my husband got salad and beef. All of them were delicious! The food is amazing and authentic. I recommend and definitely going back next time Im in town.

We had been here for coffee the day before and after a disappointing dinner out the previous evening we decided to go back to a place which seemed local in the midst of visitors. We had the menu dia for 11Euros each including bread, salad, main, dessert & wine. It did not disappoint...the food was flavourful and well prepared; the... More

The dining room is eclectic, cozy and charming in its own way. Service is friendly and efficient until the place fills up and we struggled to get and pay the bill. The menu del dia is excellent value. We can recommend the grilled rabbit and pulpitos, small squid in a tomato sauce. Our only complaint was they forgot the allioli... More

It blends historic artifacts from its days under Roman dominion up through the Spanish Civil War with a vibrant modern-day culture of artisan shops and authentic culinary experiences.
