This restaurant is conveniently situated in the Santa Caterina covered market. As far as I know, you can’t make any reservations, but if you want to have lunch here, make sure that you arrive a little before 13:00. The quite large dining room is just alongside the open kitchen, so you can see the chefs at work. The restaurant is... More

This place gets easily packed, so much that we ate at the bar. It is a mix of a very local menu, trendy and interesting fusion.

We all love this place - luck we went early and in February and therefore thre was no need to wait. I liked the Marinera and the Pollo. Maybe if we had a table of our own it woud have been better bt we enjoyed it all the same.

Nice looking place, very trendy and full of bright young things. Food a mixed bag - some good, some ok and some inedible. The sushi was expensive but good. The tempura was also good. The salmon was very odd - half of it was ok the other half so greasy I couldn't eat it. The steak was very very rare... More

I visited this restaurant one Sunday evening at the beginning of June. We were looking for something simple but with a Spanish feel due to one of our party not being shall we say very adventurous with food and the rest of us dying for more than pizza.  We had to wait for 20mins but we just sat at the... Happened across this restaurant and decided to try it as it was very busy on a Tuesday night! Glad we did! Lovely atmosphere, good service and great wholesome food.

Good selection on menu & decent wine. Price range reasonable and welcoming atmosphere. Nice snack selection in bar area if you only want to call in for a drink too.

Good range of food in the restaurant which adjoins the Santa Caterina market. Good comfort food. Family and kids also enjoyed the food. Boneless roared lamb was delicious.

This restaurant is in the less touristy Santa Caterina Market - just off Via Laetina, near the Barcelona Cathedral. We ate here twice in less than a week, and it was by far the best restaurant experience we had in the city -- that's saying a lot. On the two nights we visited, the restaurant opened at 7:30 - So,... Neighbourhood Profile
El Born / La Ribera
The labyrinth that is El Born becomes most apparent the moment you turn down one of its side streets. But this is one of the few labyrinths you might actually enjoy losing your way in. After all, there are few places that live and breathe such exciting energy regardless of the time of day. This neighbourhood seamlessly transcends the old and new parts of the city, reflected in its vast array of restaurants ranging from fancy Michelin-star establishments to trendy fusion restaurants. Here you'll find historical and cultural attractions such as the popular Picasso Museum and the Gothic cathedral La Santa Maria del Mar, where you just might be able to catch a traditional Catalan wedding.
