Simple vegetarian dishes, great prices. Don't expect nothing special or fancy, just simple homemade food. We liked the fact that you can try more dishes, but we always exaggerated and ate too much

I been several times with my family, we eat two adults and two small children for about 20-25€, taking two menus plus drinks, menus are abundant, plates are simple, there are no alcoholic beverages available neither coffee and of course no meat and no fish.

The style is like a canteen. It serves different kinds of vegetarian food. The old woman was friendly and she tried to explain to me in English. We came once in the evening for dinner and she gave us fresh fruit salads (not the one that was already ready on display). My favourite are aubergine with cheese, mushrooms, macaroni, fruit... More

The food is ready made and stored ready for you to choose what you like. Unfortunately leaving it stored renders some of the dishes dried out and tasteless. The salad I chose looked great, but when I started to eat, the carrits and sweetcorn had gone dry. The main dish had crisps which had gone soggy and bread that was... More

I thought the range and quality of dishes on offer were good. I had a salad and the paella (vegetarian of course). Although the latter was not particularly hot the taste and texture were good. The decor is dated and with just one member of staff on the checkout it was difficult to get information. Having said that two Spanish... More

We only stopped in for takeaway desserts, but both the cake and pie we ordered were very tasty! The restaurant was getting ready to close, but the lady who was working there, was pleasant and friendly. The place had a relaxed, family friendly vibe about it.

My dinner at this place was the very WORST in Barcelona. Everything was cold: paella was cold and I was told I need to go and microwave my food in the back. Seriously? Then my husband had fried zucchini and also it was totally cold and was expected to microwave it in the back. Really? Microwaving fried food that is... More

If you are looking for simple, nutritious vegetarian food at the core of Barcelona, come here. If you are looking for a fancy restaurant with tofu croquettes or other vegetarian ingeniousness for double the price, don't :) We must say we are very happy for finding this place. We had a menu for EUR 10 per person that we could... More

This is a not a place that attempts to be cosy or cool - it reminded us of the self-service restaurants we used to go to as students, that have sadly disappeared from many European cities. But the food is fresh and delicious (this was the best tortilla we had in Barcelona) the owner's choice of music is highly atmospheric,... More

This place is so sad it takes away your appetite, specially if you come in the evening. The menus have not changed in 20+ years, and not because they have become a classic, it's just there is no evolution at all. The food is made in the morning and left to dry out during the whole day. In the middle... More
