Small unpretentious but incredibly high quality tapas bar, now run by 3rd or 4th generation owners. Have not had a bad tapa there yet and been visiting for years. No seating and quite cramped for space, but the quality of the food and drink selection is unmatched!

It might be a bit packed but it is worth the time and effort. The variety and flavors combined will stun you in a wonderful way. Be flexible but enjoy. The hosts are gracious in the midst of seeming chaos and endless. combinations of flavor!

This place is amazing, I highly recommend! It was jam packed but the staff are so efficient, you barely have to wait. Every dish they made for customers while I was there looked delicious - the prawns and caviar were my favourite, but honestly, go with a few more people so you can taste everything!

I was fortunate to be recommended by a friend to visit here. It is tricky to find but definitely worth it when you arrive. The tapas are world class and each one made to order by talented tapas chefs. No chairs but this adds to the atmosphere. Also being off the main tourist route the prices are very reasonable for... One of the many tiny tapas bars in the city - a little out of the way but a real gem. Freshly made tapas and a wholly unique atmosphere. An extremely enjoyable couple of visits!!!

Went here 2 nights in a row. Amazing atmosphere, lovely tapas made to order and fabulous wine to accompany it. No seats, tiny place but well worth going to. Try to get a space at the bar to watch the staff at work and enjoy the banter with other guests. Try the cheese board and the chocolate dessert - both... More

The food here is great. It is small and gets jammed packed very quickly. The staff are great. Such personalities and I found it amusing to watch them and interact with them. I was at the bar right in front of them, so we were in constant contact. Nothing hot on the menu that I found, however, the food is... More

Bustling at lunch, people queuing to get in, great selection of fabulous tapases, wines or beercan. Charming and effective. Tried artichoke with cheese, gooseliver with truffle and mushroom followed by a chestnut dessert. Very nice indeed 😁

Thank Athorst

Staying in Montjuic

Neighbourhood Profile
Beyond the four columns standing guard at the Plaça Espanya, beyond even the extravagant and colourful fountains guiding your way up the boulevard, stands the impressive and towering structure of the Palau Nacional, the national museum. At this very spot in front of the cascades of the central fountain, Freddie Mercury and Montserrat Caballe gave the performance of their lifetimes to welcome the 1992 Olympic Games to this magnificent city. And true to its anticipation, the games transformed the city, reimagining the mountain of Montjuic with the development of an arena, stadium, and many other sporting facilities that are open to visitors year-round. Surrounding the adjacent side of the plaza are well-established hotels catering to business guests and a shopping mall transformed out of a historic bullfighting arena.
