This is a very busy spot. You must cram yourself in next to others and shout across the room to the servers, reaching across people to receive your food/drinks. The food is delicious and the atmosphere is fun.

This place is amazing. I've been to BCN 8 times now and go here every time. Please, don't put your phone in their face with pictures of what you want. Look at the menu and ask questions. They speak enough English to help you and...More

A very busy little bar turning out the most amazing tapas. If you like tapas and food culture, a visit to Quimet & Quimet is a must.

4/5 for the food 2/5 for the atmosphere and ordering routine Very delicious lunch snacks (small sandwich-like tapas) BUT crowded and chaotic. If you fancy yourself a relaxing place, do NOT go here. Here you memorize your tapas, order the food by screaming (figuratively speaking...almost)...More

Hello I'm visiting Barcelona in April and would love to visit Quimet I Quimet - i'm staying only 15 minutes or so judging by the map. Can anyone advise whether you can/should book if you are planning to eat here? If you can't book, can you advise whether it is likely to be busy all the time, and whether there are some best times to visit? Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks Dave

Hi. You can't book, it's just got tables that you stand at and its the sort of place you just have a glass of wine and a tapas or two, not a full meal type place. You must visit though, amazing. Enjoy!
