All of the below is my personal opinion. Seafood is really fresh and cooked well. Meal was good, but nothing special. Service is pretty strange. Dinner is served by courses, but no information about that was given in prior. In addition there was no descriptions...More

Firstly, this place was almost impossible to find! I looked the day before the reservation to locate it, but was unsuccessful even though the GPS was telling me I was next to it - I could see the ice cream shop next door to it...More

I don't think this restaurant deserves either the praise or the scorn found in other reviews. With expectations prepared by those reviews, we had an interesting, somewhat unusual restaurant experience at a moderately high price. I like my food well flavored, so didn't find the...More

We have now been there five times - and love the place. It is a lot of food and it is not the cheapest place, but quality is superb. We never had better prawns around the globe. This is the place. And and the end...More

We had no idea what to expect when we called for a reservation. We had just looked for a good seafood restaurant. What we found was course after course just coming and coming. It was all superior and we laughed and had a terrific time...More

Hard to find but well worth the effort - no menu - just course after course of beautifully prepared fresh seafood. Razor clams, Red prawns and Cigalas followed by perfectly cooked monkfish and then the most gorgeous crime Catalan. It's not cheap but is excellent...More

One of my favourites. Hidden gem. Can't see it from busy touristy square in Barcelona. Superb fresh dishes from sea and willing to make you madrid type intestines (and that in Barcelona). Very suitable for private business conversations. High quality!

Passadis del Pep was highly recommended to us by colleagues in Mexico, so we went there without hesitation, knowing beforehand that it was a set-price for plates to be selected by the restaurant. The food was indeed spectacular and the waiter we had very warm....More

Dont go there - it is a total rip-off. What used to be an institution for traditional seafood in BCN has been turned into a tourist trap. We should have understood this when we easily could get a table for 8 persons the same FRIDAY...More

My Spanish friends strongly recommended this restaurant but they didn't give me any info like no menu, hard-to-find (no sign outside of the building)... 70 euro per person including a small bottle of cava. A good experience like I found a hidden jam (actually it...More

The labyrinth that is El Born becomes most apparent
the moment you turn down one of its side streets. But
this is one of the few labyrinths you might actually
enjoy losing your way in. After all, there are few
places that live and breathe such exciting energy
regardless of the time of day. This neighbourhood
seamlessly transcends the old and new parts of the
city, reflected in its vast array of restaurants

I would say that it is definitely not cheap, but is a good restaurant. Whether it is good 'value for money' it is arguable, and depends on your expectation and perception having visited. Personally, I probably would only... More

While the food served at this restaurant is heavy on shellfish, I am sure they will work with you if you are patient and communicate effectively. Worst case, your husband will pass on one or two of the 9 courses!
