We went for this place because it was busy and had good reviews. The place looks nice and feels really local. It was noisy and they clean the tables by throwing everything on the floor. Maybe that's a local thing I don't know. The tapas...More

You have to go here when you are in Barcelona! We found this in a guide book and can honestly say it was the best meal we had in the 4 days we were in the city. It is set back from the beach and...More

Amazing food, helpful staff. Could tell it was going to be nice as it was completely packed out with locals when we arrived. 100% would recommend anyone looking for a feel of the real Barcelona.

Once you get used to the idea that it's quite a local place that us tourists, it's very good, might have to wait a bit for a table

Better come before the evening rush hour, before eight p.m. to catch a table outside on the side walk and enjoy some pretty good and also big tapas. Great value for money!

The main reason to visit Jai-Ca is to enjoy as many dishes of chipirones ae possible, I haven't been to any other Barcelona restaurant that prepares them this well. The mushrooms and honey coated aubergines are also superb dishes. I would definitely recommend the chocolate...More

The food is authentic and tasty and very well priced at (generally) 3-5 euros per dish. The staff are friendly and would recommend it - very close to Barceloneta Beach.

Originally a fisherman’s quarter, this quaint area
can’t escape its small village feel: laundry hanging
over the narrow streets, old ladies clamoring at each
other from their balconies and elder gentlemen playing
games on short wooden benches gossiping the day away,
Barceloneta could double as a film set. Artists line
the boardwalk displaying their magnificently detailed
sand structures making this the most visited beach in

Gracias,salut.
